This is a nice game! Very interesting, and very promising, but VERY buggy. I tried working in the factory and the drill bit broke twice with me barely applying any pressure for a second. I tried collecting bottles and scrap metal and that didn't work - the guy refused to take them. I tired delivering mail and half of the letters fell through the lady's desk and I could not pick them up and finish the job... This makes it almost unplayable.

*DOOMER SIMULATOR*, developed by Sebasa Games Taganrog and published by Sebasa Games, is less a traditional video game and more an interactive mood piece that centers on monotony, isolation, and the quiet weight of routine. It places players inside a deliberately uneventful life, one defined not by dramatic highs or clear progression, but by repetition and a lingering sense of emotional stagnation. From the very beginning, it makes its intentions clear: this is not an experience designed to entertain in a conventional way, but one that invites players to observe and inhabit a very specific psychological state. The gameplay is built around simple, cyclical actions that reflect the protagonist’s daily existence. Tasks such as going to work, tending to basic needs, and idly passing time within a small living space form the backbone of the experience. These actions are intentionally repetitive, reinforcing the idea of being stuck in an unchanging loop. There is a faint structure provided by maintaining employment and meeting minimal expectations, but this never evolves into a deeper system of progression. Instead, the game emphasizes the lack of change, using repetition as a narrative tool rather than a mechanical limitation. The result is a rhythm that can feel hypnotic for some players and draining for others, depending on how they engage with its pacing. What truly defines *DOOMER SIMULATOR* is its atmosphere. The environment is carefully crafted to evoke a sense of decay and quiet resignation, with worn interiors, muted colors, and small details that suggest a life lived in routine rather than purpose. The apartment setting feels confined and personal, while the surrounding spaces carry a cold, impersonal quality that reinforces the feeling of isolation. This attention to environmental storytelling gives the game a strong sense of identity, making the world feel grounded even as the gameplay remains minimal. There is also an undercurrent of dark humor running through the experience, though it is subtle and often understated. Rather than offering overt jokes, the game presents situations that are quietly ironic or absurd in their mundanity. These moments serve as a contrast to the otherwise heavy tone, preventing the experience from becoming entirely oppressive while still maintaining its overall mood. It’s a delicate balance that adds a layer of personality without undermining the central themes. However, the same qualities that make the game distinctive also limit its appeal. Mechanically, there is little to engage with beyond the basic loop, and players expecting traditional objectives, skill-based challenges, or meaningful progression may find themselves disengaged relatively quickly. The experience is short and intentionally constrained, offering more of a snapshot than a fully developed system. Once the player has absorbed its atmosphere and understood its intent, there is little incentive to continue or revisit it. Technical shortcomings further highlight its rough edges. Occasional bugs, uneven performance, and incomplete localization can disrupt immersion, reminding players of the game’s indie scope. While these issues do not completely detract from the core experience, they do affect overall polish and can make certain moments feel less refined than they could be. Despite these limitations, *DOOMER SIMULATOR* succeeds in delivering a focused and memorable concept. It stands apart by committing fully to its vision, using simplicity and repetition to explore themes that are rarely addressed so directly in games. It does not attempt to appeal to a wide audience, and that is part of its identity. For players interested in experimental titles or those willing to engage with a slower, more introspective experience, it offers something that feels distinct and thought-provoking. In the end, *DOOMER SIMULATOR* is less about what you do and more about what you feel while doing it. It trades excitement for atmosphere and progression for reflection, creating an experience that lingers not because of its mechanics, but because of the mood it leaves behind. It may not resonate with everyone, but for those who connect with its tone, it provides a uniquely immersive and quietly impactful journey. Rating: 7/10

For a short game full of bugs, constant reloads and saves it is well worth the 5$ price tag for about 3 hours of gameplay and 11 achivements that can be completed in that time
