Hmm, something came out of the wishlist. Mixed reviews? Damn. Wait, isn't this the Lost Village devs? Lets read the reviews. Oh.. Right, anything above 2 buttons is complicated. Lets blame the sound, etc, instead of checking what I am buying before I buy it.. Concerning the game itself, I didn't even notice how 4 hrs passed. English is ok, looks good, gameplay is king if you like the style. Another game where ROI for $ vs hrs played will be much bigger then today's average "AAAs". Gives Amazing cultivator and Leviathan Fantasy vibes. Easy 100-200 hrs of fun in over time. I came back to those two over and over.

An interesting game that had a rough launch with no audio but they were quick to fix. They are offering a free dlc to compensate in a few weeks but does make me wonder why they already had a DLC already almost ready by launch day. Eastern era is a Chinese cultivating Rimworld like and it flows pretty good but does have some translation issues though not a deal breaker. Please don't change the WANGDERING! Seems like a one for one copy, not of Rimworld, but a similar gem called Stranded: Alien Dawn....it has of course been adjusted to an ancient Chinese theme and is a cultivation (think magic warriors) focused game. This is all a good thing as far as I am concerned and I hope they can make the mechanics deeper, if not modding is always a thing. I have dreamed of a successor to Amazing Cultivation Simulator for years and this hits the spot for now (though is not as detailed in its mechanics, sadly).

Edit. Sound patched!! No sounds at launch, dev's responded immediately and have promised a hotfix within an hour and something about a player compensation plan (idk what that is but cool). I usually don't play with sound on anyways. Yes the game could have used a week or two more in the oven but damn I'm tired of waiting for release TBH. I don't care if they fix nothing, I'ma be busy wangdering and beat this game. Do you like Rimworld type games? Like Amazing Cultivation Simulator? Like Wuxia? Buy this. Hunting animals? They kungfu that ♥♥♥♥ and it's awesome. That rabbit tasted my spear like a champion after insulting the Young Master. He courted death and became dinner. I'll admit this hit my two favorite genres perfectly so I'm going to diehard fan this game. I'm an hour into it and no bugs whatsoever other than a few typos. This is 1000x better than garbage machine translated games any day of the week. There are a few lines so far that were not translated but nothing I couldn't ease past quickly (just build your own house in the tutorial don't use the premade yet).

About the no music/no sound - the devs have already explained that and mentioned it will be patched in an hour and they'll make it up to the players. Anyone who complains about that hasn't paid any attention to any of the responses from the devs. Some of the criticism is deserved though. The game is laggy, some of the English isn't there or is awkward and it could be improved. The game itself is fun if you enjoy these types of games! I do recommend watching streams about the game if you aren't too sure if it's for you because it is not a Western game, it's not a Western game, its' not a Western game (important things need to be repeated three times!). Keep this in mind, relax, and have fun.
