A puzzle game where you manage the formative Egyptian civilization through a partially predetermined history narrative: first settling the banks of the Nile, then expanding control over the larger desert. Manage resources and build pyramids. Unique for its art design and use of hieroglyphs. Vibey, satisfying, immersive strategy game. It might seem small in size and scope, but the skill curve offers lots to explore.

As someone who has studied Ancient Egyptian history and linguistics, I really enjoy this game. Not only the gameplay, music, and graphics are great, but there it shows that a lot of research was put into this game to make it very educational too.

Kinda simple and straightforward, not really comparable in depth to serious strategies I'd say, however I do enjoy it. Also looks obviously matured compared to earlier products from the same devs.

Amazing experience first few playthroughs but quickly becomes a economy management simulator. It's very fun, but also one hell of a challenging game for some not very smart people like me. I enjoyed growing my empire across the nile but after some time during your run growth becomes quite stagnant and difficulty increases rapidly as you try to maximize production while also balancing the in game challenges.
