Great game. Turns out what I needed to enjoy bullet hell games was for them to be turn based. Took a run or two to get into the flow but I've had a blast with this (at the expense of work I should be doing - very much a 'just one more run' type game). Doesn't feel early access at all, could pass as a complete game. There's a lot of depth to build mechanics that feel really fresh and unique once you get your head around the systems, and a hell of a lot of really creative weapons. Somehow they've threaded the needle where you can 'break the game' with the right build but the challenge never leaves. Obviously looks and sounds fantastic. There are some minor balance issues but I guess that's what early access is for. I'll be playing this one for a while - can't wait to see what more content gets added.

I've played quite a few iterations of Enter the Chronosphere, from the original gamejam version with ASCII art til now, in early access. It would be easy to say that the game has transformed, that it's almost unrecognisable of its roots, but what is incredible to me though, is that if you played the original release side by side with this, you can feel that they're the same game. They have the same heart and soul. If any game, especially an action roguelike, can communicate and execute it's gameplay loop successfully without art, music, and any form of narrative structure while being enjoyable to play, then it's a strong indicator of a successful and unique idea. Enter the Chronosphere is this. It is a fantastic entry into a crowded genre. The game currently seems to have a great deal of content, an outstanding visual art style, really beautiful animations, and an engaging gameplay loop. Weapons feel weighty and diverse, upgrades are meaningful, and the design of the active abilities are just plain fun. You can also play as a bear. This is a strong recommend for any fans of action roguelikes, and I think with the turn based nature, it will appeal to those who haven't necessarily loved the genre either. I'm looking forward to the continued development, the roadmap looks promising!

I didn't expect a turn-based game to be so exciting and challenging. This is a really unique take on the rogue-like genre and I am very excited to play more. The art style is also amazing, I love the hand drawn animations and colorful worlds. Addicting!

Been following this game since I saw it on IGN's Rogue Jam a few years ago, and have been playing it since last year in beta testing. This game is incredibly tactical with really cool weapons and gadgets that feel powerful. Has tons of content. Definitely check this game out. It also works flawlessly on Steam Deck. I am so excited the game has finally released and can't wait for more.
