I only leave reviews when a game is either really good or really bad - this is one of the best games I've ever played! I feel many of the negative reviews are unfair. They seem to be split mainly into the 3 camps below, 1) They don't have the intellect to solve these puzzles: These puzzle are not like the puzzles in games like 'The Room' where you need only randomly click things until something happens or where the solution is screaming at you in the face. The puzzles in this game are PROPER puzzles and VERY cleverly designed. You actually have to engage your brain, so expect to be stuck thinking about a puzzle for a while, and you will probably need to write notes to solve some. Reviews that say the puzzles don't follow logical rules or require brute force are talking TOTAL rubbish. I got through all puzzles using logic alone and did not require the optional hints. This game reminds me of the Sherlock Holmes quote "You see, but you do not observe" - all the clues you need are given to you in the form of various letters left around the house and you need to CAREFULLY read each one. 2) They don't have the patience: this is not a game that you can leave your brain at the door after a hard days work. This is a game you play if you're in desperate need of some intellectual stimulation and challenge. 3) It's not a co-op game: this is probably true. I played it solo, but I noticed that much of the time the puzzles need to be completed in a linear order. I suspect this is a niche game for those who find other puzzle games too simple, and for that reason this game may struggle to gain mass appeal. However I hope this developer does really well and continues to make QUALITY puzzle games like this. P.S. There IS an inventory option for carrying the puzzle pieces - hit Tab.

5 bucks for this was so worth it. Some of the puzzles are truly challenging and it will test your ability to problem solve. Really really enjoyed playing this with friends. Would absolutely recommend for a quick cheap late night game that clearly had love and effort put in!!!!! EDIT: JUST BECAUSE YOU FELT THE PUZZLES WERE TOO HARD, THAT DOES NOT WARRANT A NEGATIVE REVIEW. YOUR INTELLECT SHOULD NOT AFFECT THE DEVELOPERS IMAGE!

This game is absolute peak. DARE I SAY A BANGER OF A GAME. My friend and I are currently playing and havent even finished it yet, but we already want to express our gratitude for this game and show love to the devs of this game, bc how do u even create smth like this??? We love the music in the background, the placement of the collectibles that never gets too boring and the puzzles that break our minds. Some of them are maybe a bit too hard but all in all uptill now theyve been great. I hope you continue publishing these games.

I'm going to copy/paste this review on every 0 Deer Soft games. These games are top end puzzle/escape room games. Value you get for these prices are absolutely worth it. These puzzles are actually challenging, not like "put this triangle piece into triangle shaped hole" and leaving thinking to another day was usually better option than just trying to force it. Good games, challenging puzzles and very cheap.

Fun game, took a friend and I about 9 hours. Some of the puzzles feel kinda convoluted. Some of the puzzles are also easier to brute force the combinations rather than actually solve. Also in the dark area, you can't see anything without a light, but you can't pick anything up while carrying a light, meaning we spent an hour wandering around in circles trying to figure out what we were missing. Ultimately, worth the experience if you buy it on sale, but I think $12 (AUS) is a bit much for this game.
