I enjoyed the game for awhile, even with the heavy grind and very slow progression. A few tweaks would turn this into a great game, but the lack of depth and slow rewards just make it a good game for the price. Game on!

Worth picking up on sale if you want a fun zombie slaying bullet hell and aren't looking for more than 30 - 40 hours of entertainment since you can unlock everything relatively quickly and the meta is completely broken, which severely limits replayability. Take a look at Yet Another Zombie Survivors if you're willing to spend a bit more for something similar with more polish, depth, and replayability.

This game is all about grinding up survivor like runs to upgrade facilities and work on the constant meta progression grind. It's not the best to do it, it's not even close. But it's frequently on sale, it's $4 when it is, and you can tell the dev put some really creative ideas and heart into it. If you're a big fan of the genre and you're looking for a cool game to kill some time; this one's pretty good. If you've never played a survivor's like before, what's wrong with you? Go play VS then come back to this in a year when you're craving cheap fixes.
