I'm not good at reviews, so I will say that I adore the Fate series, The first Fate was one of the only games I had growing up, and Traitor Soul has to be the best one. Below is information on accessing the first game's content. You can access the town of Grove and basically have the three first games in one. Go to the installation folder and follow the path listed below. FATE The Traitor Soul\REALMS\Grove\REALM\en-US\realms.dat In that realms.dat file, you will see "<LOCKED>:1". Change the 1 to a 0. You will see "<LEVEL>:0" below that. Change the 0 to a 1. You can now access thee entirety of the first game's content.

So I really like FATE. I really like this particular entry into FATE. However, playing the games in release order is not a great experience, atleast not back-to-back. Consider each new entry an opportunity to reroll with a new character, not a continuation of your character's journey/saga. The FATE expansions (not sequels) are standalone titles that include everything each previous entry had, plus more. I had burned out of FATE by the time I finished Undiscovered Realms. I couldn't finish Traitor Soul as a result. Reawakened is probably the best way to experience the "Quadrilogy" at this point, instead of dealing with the relics of this era of game development and release schedules.

this game was a childhood favorite of mine- id played it on the original wild tangent launcher and as a kid id never close the game so that i could keep playing it since wild tangent operated on 'tokens' that youd use up everytime you opened the game... it was one of the only computer games i made my parents order a disc for me online, lol. id play this game for HOURS and let me just say, its just as fun as it was when i was a kid. as an adult im finding im much much better at it. anyway, its a great game for scratching the nostalgia itch and come on, its less than 10 bucks. one of my fav old games. its super clunky and chunky and kinda ugly in a charming way, gameplay is just simple dungeon crawling. you click things until they die, level up, gamble a bit on new armor and weapons, rinse repeat. i love it lol 10/10

I played this game back when I was a kid, and it is indeed, as good as I remember it. A bit tedious, the quality isn't as high as something from the Torchlight series, but I personally think that's part of the charm. Another thing is that, since it's not very popular, you'll have to find out and explore by yourself, there's only so much info in the wiki. On the bugs side, I have not encountered any bugs. Also, BIG WARNING, if you don't like games where you gotta organize and manage your inventory often you should prob skip this one.
