FATE is a classic, if you grew up in the 2000s and had a windows pc? Then youll remember Wildtangent and its free games. This was THE game to play as a kid and it should be now. There isn't much of a story in the original game, but it expands in each game. I dont really pay attention to it, but its a fun game. Each level of the dungeon gets harder, you have to fight your way deeper and deeper. I still remember playing Final Drive Fury and Nitro and seeing this particular one being advertised in game.

Still one of the best games ever all these years later. I remember it like it was yesterday being 13 years old and getting this game and installing it on my dads crappy work computer. every day after school for a long time this game was my world. Its very much its own game but comparable to diablo and hold up extremely well and has not aged a bit even if you dont have nostalgia for this game you will still love it. Also you can pretty much keep playing it forever grinding for levels and better gear

loaded an old save where my elf could summon creatures that could summon their own creatures so each dungeon level feels like a walmart parking lot. fantastic. can't even see the enemies.

NOTE: ONLY BUY FATE: THE TRAITOR SOUL AND FATE: THE CURSED KING! Fate: The traitor soul has Fate, Fate: Undiscovered Realms, and a new dungeon all connected to each over through the Temple of Fate. The game is much longer then is predecessor with between 32 and 42 hrs of gameplay depending on how quickly you want to finish the game. It should be noted that there are an infinite number of dungeon levels (3.4 billion) across the 5 realms. After the main questline though, its up to you on when you want to retire your character and create a descendant. It fixed all the issues that Fate: Undiscovered Realms had. There are no glitchy areas. All the realms do get difficult, but considering that you can take quests in the different realms, it makes it easy to gain strength at a reasonable pace to keep up with the difficulty. Your pet also has 2.5 times the space of the previous games. This is literally a lifesaver. The new weapons, armor, and monsters also add to the game. Now for the downsides. It's quite hard to get quests for the next floor you need to go to. Plan on taking quests for 2 or 3 floors past the next one. Does get frustrating. At some point, you basically cannot upgrade your weapons and armor until certain fate ranks. This does make the game a little frustrating as you have to rely on leveling up. Rating: 8.7/10 Pros: Average music 100+ different monsters Great weapon selection 5 realms to have fun in great time waster Perfect dungeon crawler for kids (no in-appropriate content) Cons: Not getting quests for the level you need Pet is always fleeing Very hard to get better equipment by the end of the main questline last 2 realms have no town Cannot leave portals in the last two realms at the same time. You must chose one.
