lovely music, stunning detail, cute frogs, toads, gnomes, mice and bugs up to cute antics! Highly recommend if you love goblincore, cottagecore, cosy games. Nice to do if you have a bit of time or something to do before bed. Nice challenge here and there too if you wanna unlock all the secrets!
[H1]The most relaxing frog hunt ever, where the only danger is to lose track of time[/H1] One big image, 8 sub-levels, and over 400 frogs, toads and little oddities waiting to be spotted. This was easily one of the best hidden object games I’ve played in months! It’s adorable, relaxing, full of secrets, and honestly? Worth every damn penny. The artwork is lovely and the frog placement feels fair, which makes the search satisfying and slightly challenging. Interactive items like bags and coffers are clearly marked, so you always know what can be poked. Beyond the frogs and toads, there are tons of side discoveries like sneaky gnomes and strawberry pieces. If you’re unsure what to check for next, a visit to grandpa frog chilling in his chair reveals the options at the bottom of the explanations, and the achievements help narrow down the nature of the mystery items too. Hints recharge extremely quickly and don’t interfere with 100% completion, which makes them great for nudging the search without ruining the fun, though they do give the answer right away. There’s also a surprising amount of QoL options: sound controls, fullscreen, and even a day/night mode with four different color hues for night play. Add a super relaxing soundtrack and a generous amount of content for the price (especially on sale) and it becomes very easy to fall in love. The only real issue appears right at the start. The instructions introduce several symbols before you know what they mean, so the explanation doesn’t fully land until later in the game. Achievement descriptions and general play clarify those secret items listed in the tutorial, so everything clicks into place pretty quickly, but it is worth noting that the start can take aback. But this little bump isn't enough to tamper with the flow of the whole game. 10/10 Hidden characters game. I can tell a lot of effort went into this game - it makes you actually think and not just aimlessly click on autopilot, as the scene is huge and a lot of the frogs are obscured as other objects. (example: I clicked on a scuba hose sticking out of the water and that revealed a frog.) Find My Frogs is one of the more thoughtful examples from a genre that's often inundated by low-effort entries. You can select from a variety of audio options and a day/night/color cycle to get your ambience just perfect. There are multiple options for lighting & tone of the beautifully hand-drawn scene so that you can adjust it to your preference, even toggling between day & night. It actually has a variety of things to find - frogs, toads, gnomes, and special interactable background objects in the world. The latter can be hard to find but luckily there's a handy hint system on a cooldown that highlights your next item, whatever it may be. There are a series of doors to enter, giving you a new hand-drawn scene in a smaller sub-area where you must find all interactables in the new rooms. You can freely come and go as you please, back to the hub area. Finally, something other than cats! The visual style is adorable and consistent, frogs, toads, gnomes and other things are hidden well and there's more than one map included in the story. It's not one of those games of this kind that you finish in 5 minutes, it can take some time to find all the secrets and finish the story.

It’s not particularly challenging which I like, though some frogs, toads, and gnomes can be surprisingly tricky to spot - keep an eye out for their tiny feet or little butts sticking out! Overall, it’s a lovely, peaceful experience that I’d recommend to anyone looking to relax and enjoy searching for adorable little frogs!
