I am honestly a bit at a loss for words.. Wow. What an absolute masterwork. You can truly feel the love, craft and intentionality behind every single detail of this game. Forever Ago is an insanely beautiful, realistic and grounding experience. At the core, it’s a quiet and profound story about grief, what comes after and learning how to pick up the pieces when everything feels lost. It shows you how to pivot your life after massive change and gently reminds you how to find beauty and joy in the small things again. It grounds you and leaves you with a deeply tender reminder of what actually matters in life. I haven't cried like this with a game in a very long time. The voice acting is superb. The last letter of Audie had me floored. If you appreciate narrative-driven games with incredible atmosphere, emotional depth and soul, please do yourself a favor and play this. A journey that will stay with me for a long time.

>jarvis >the usual sir? >no, this time find me a reason to keep going This is a story about grief. Grief is hard and it's something that each and everyone of us will have to get through. I'm already way past the initial stage, I lost nearly all of my family along the way (some by cancer) but losing your significant other is whole another story. This game really got to me, made me cry like a baby for 3 hours straight and since I didn't finish it yet I'm battling myself If I have the strength to do so. This is the most emotional game for me since TWD Telltale games. I can't recommend you to play this if you are heartbroken or lost someone recently. Play the game with a clear mind. Otherwise I don't know where you guys might end up. Congratulations to the developers, you really nailed the emotions with that trip. GOTY 2026 for me. Fu*k cancer.

I cannot express enough how much of a masterpiece this game is. I'm sitting here absolutely sobbing. It was wonderful, it was heart felt, it was thoughtful and introspective. It was so raw and so reflective on the nature of grief and loss and love. For every part that was sad, there was a part that was brimming with hope, and the possibilities for the future. I can't recommend it enough. This game was art, and I just SO loved it.

So i went into this game knowing it was about a man going on a road trip after losing his wife. and it was so good. I lost my mom 2 years ago now, grief is still hard. this game crushed me in such a great way. i cried at the ending, as if i knew and was there through their whole relationship. please play this game if you love narrative games. i loved it. it reminded me of a bittersweet mixtape (with more photo interactivity and conversations) and i loved that games story and purpose. pleaseee keep making games like this devs. we need good stories like this
