If you’re reading this during the Winter Sale, now is a great time to pick up this game while it’s still available. Like previous Forza Horizon titles, this one will eventually be delisted once the licenses for cars and music expire but don’t worry, it will remain fully playable even after removal. The open world is massive and full of things to do. With nearly 900 cars available, there’s always something new to drive. Even in free roam, you’ll constantly find events, challenges, collectibles, and player-made content to keep you busy. The seasonal system keeps the game fresh. Each month is split into four weekly seasons, each bringing different weather, activities, and rewards. All seasonal content is completely free, no paid season pass required. Progression feels rewarding. You earn cars through leveling up /wheelspins, completing stories, accolades, and seasonal challenges. The game plays perfectly on a controller, but handling can vary a lot depending on car choice and tuning. If you’re aiming for 100% achievements, you’ll need both expansions: Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure. DLC cars are optional, and there’s no pay-to-win here.

⚠️ If you have an NVIDIA graphics card, you'll probably want to read this. After more than 100 hours of gameplay, I can state that Forza Horizon 5 is without a doubt one of the most complete and entertaining racing games I have ever played. One of the aspects I appreciate most is the amount of content available: there is always something to do, such as races, challenges, seasonal events or even just driving around the map enjoying the scenery, which can often be therapeutic. Also, the visuals are a show: the map, inspired by Mexico, is rich in detail and has an atmosphere that makes you want to explore. The graphics are amazing, and Photo Mode stands out as a powerful tool to capture all this beauty, offering advanced options for camera control, focus and exposure. The gameplay maintains that arcade feel the series does so well, easy to learn and pick up, but with enough depth for those who like to tweak every little detail of the controls or the car. Driving feels smooth and responsive, making the game accessible to newcomers and still rewarding for experienced players. But unfortunately not everything is perfect. If you, like me, use an NVIDIA graphics card, it is worth knowing that the game still suffers from random and unpredictable crashes. I have lost several online races and even stopped playing for a few days out of pure frustration and despite trying dozens of fixes found on the internet nothing worked. It is frustrating to see this kind of issue persist in a title released in 2021. In the end I partially recommend Forza Horizon 5, especially if it is on sale. It is a great game with many strengths but one that still suffers from technical problems that should no longer exist. The game is good but it absolutely does not need the boring ass characters with their dead soulless conversations that drags on way too long, I'm here to drive cars

The game has little progression; you are handed fast cars and race them for thousands of dollars. You were born "the chosen one;" you never had to earn it. I keep coming back to mod cars, but never felt I had earned anything. I wish that was different.
