Definitely worth the $10, so get it on sale if you are interested. First thing, it's nice that all the cosmetics are something to earn in game and not tied to shop. Seems to be a rarity today with newer games that its a praise for something that used to be normal. this version does give a few of the Valoplates some starting cosmetics too, which is nice. Combat takes some getting used to, but is very satisfying once your start learning how to build the right skills and weapons into a Valorplate. Normal mode is kinda boring in the early levels, but Hard mode is a nice challenge all around that really makes it more intense. Plays well with either mouse and keyboard or controller. Only complaint about controller is there does not seem to be a way to customize buttons on it. If you remap some keys on Mouse and Keyboard though, it plays really well. Only a few bugs pop up once in awhile, but nothing super game breaking. 9/10 would recommend

Honest review, Game is fantastic, cinematic are great, story line is there, that being said i didn't get this game for the story, combat is amazing! take-downs feel smooth, weapons feel powerful, high skill level required, there are still some bugs, especially playing with multiplayer during tower mainly, most of the game really happens in the endgame content so best not to listen to any player review under 20 hours of game time because they don't know what their talking about, the game in my opinion is not worth at full price, however, if you can pick this game up on a sale, its incredibly worth it.

Great game. I really don't understand why no one talks about it. It has different layers for combat and is very challenging. The cons for me would be the grinding, but it part of makes this game part of its genre.

Despite what everyone is saying, this game is actually really good. Sure it has it's flaws, like no mini map, some poor UI choices, and movement outside of combat can feel a bit clunky at times. But just about everything else is amazing, like the combat systems, power fantasy, and end game modes. The game has a story, but the main focus is the gameplay honestly. The combat loop in this game feels very fun and fluid, there are times where if you get caught out it can be frustrating but I think every game has something like that. This game also introduces mechanics called Soul Shatter and Breach, these can change combat for the better once you understand them and makes the game very fun. There are 12 different classes, they change what kind of build you want. One is better with inflicting enemies with fire, one is better with critical hits, one is better with the games mechanic of Weapon Techniques. There are also 5 different weapons, each having their strengths and weaknesses. This games gives you a lot of loot/gear for you to make your build, it can be fun to try and see what does and doesn't work. One of the fun parts is getting a piece of gear you know is good for another class and then trying it out on that class, it leads you to try different play styles. And the endgame modes are amazing and really fun, each of the four having their own reason to grind it, whether it is loot or resources. Most of the negative reviews on this game are underneath one hour, only 3/4 of players have beaten the tutorial boss, and only a bit above 1/3 of players have beaten the first boss in the game(Looking at achievements). This game has a power fantasy, you start weak and end up really strong if you build correctly(Like most looter shooters). The reason I even say this is to encourage you to actually give this game a fair try, it's one of my favorite looter shooters and doesn't deserve all of the hate it gets(Some points are valid criticism though).
