A Honest Look: The game struggled with serious technical issues at launch, but thanks to subsequent updates, it is now quite stable and playable. While the "cartoonish" art style might slightly disappoint nostalgia purists, the overall package makes experiencing that 80s neon aesthetic on modern systems a true blast. The Verdict: If you’ve spent hundreds of hours in the original, this version serves as a great remastered trip down memory lane. If you’re new to the series, you should definitely give it a shot for the depth of its story and the sheer charisma of its characters (Tommy Vercetti, voiced by the legendary Ray Liotta, remains an icon). P.S. That RC helicopter mission is still guaranteed to give you a mental breakdown—some things never change. My Rating: 8/10

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas were a huge part of my childhood. Coming back to Vice City after all these years felt like opening an old photo album and suddenly remembering who you used to be. The music, the colors, the atmosphere… it instantly took me back to simpler times, when gaming was pure magic and every mission felt like a big adventure. Yes, the game isn’t perfect. But honestly, neither was the original. And that’s exactly the point. Somewhere along the way, we all started chasing “perfect” games, forgetting that the best memories were made in imperfect ones. Once you accept the quirks and rough edges, you stop judging and start feeling again. I had so much fun. Not because it’s the most advanced game ever made, but because it reminded me why I fell in love with gaming in the first place. If you’re 30+, this is more than just a game. It’s a time machine. Don’t overthink it. Just press play. If you’re younger and only know Grand Theft Auto V while waiting for GTA 6, give this a chance. This is where the soul of the series was built. Vice City and San Andreas didn’t just shape GTA, they shaped an entire generation of gamers. Next stop: reliving San Andreas. Enjoy the ride. 🌴🎶

I used the mod that restores the radio songs that were removed and I feel this is the best way to re-experience this game. This game and San Andreas are responsible for shaping my taste in music that lasts to this day. Absolute classic.

A good remaster of a legendary game. Some parts turned out well, some not so much. The original music has been restored with a mod, so that's no longer an issue. Overall, it was enjoyable to play through the updated version. It's probably more suited to new players, but I enjoyed it as a fan of the original. And if someone doesn't like it, there's always the original.
