i was really enjoying this game but the softlocking and progress d3letion is so dissapointing. i cant play a game that cant be played. (review changed) even after all of that... im still playing it. its good game.

I own and play a lot of survivor like games. I feel like the genre is simultaneously saturated with games that are all doing the same basic thing... but somehow I still feel like sci-fi is under represented. This game gets a thumbs up from me because it's actually very good.... once you figure it out. And that's the biggest complaint I have, is that there is no tutorial in this... and the progression systems aren't super self explanatory. If you go to the escape menu, there is a kind of game manual that you read through and that's how you learn anything you need to know, but you have to take the time to do that. The other thing I ran into is that this is NOT very well optimized for game pad, which is odd. There are numerous menu bugs both on the game menu screens as well as between missions when doing your progression and unlocking new mods, equipping gear, etc. I ended up basically switching to mouse anytime I was in a menu. While this isn't a problem on PC, it means this game really would be tough on Steam Deck, or will be tough for anyone focused on game pad. Ok, that was the negative... the positive is that this game is actually really good. There is a ton to unlock and go through, from numerous different weapons and different combat suits with varying stats, to a huge list of potential mods you can equip. Your suit has limits on what can be equipped to it, so you make selections from all the stuff you have available. The graphics are good, and the combat is super satisfying. The game offers two modes... auto everything or manual everything (meaning aim and shooting). What it doesn't tell you though, is that manual aim and shooting is really the default because one of the first things you'll have the opportunity to unlock is an AI core that does auto aim and shooting for you. So you didn't really have to choose the auto everything game mode... but then again, this gets VERY hectic and I can imagine that being in full manual might be very tough. Everything worked great though. I loved the abilities and unlocks during the run, and it felt really good to mow down swaths of aliens on what was essentially a bug hunt. Overall, they did a great job with the game play and progression here, but there is no tutorial and some of the translations are.. hit or miss. At the end of the day I do recommend it though, because once you get past the weird translations and figure out how to use all the tools at your disposal, the game is quite good as far as survivor likes go.

Only for genre addicts. Absolutely zero new ideas but the enemy models are cool and the balance/progression is pretty good. Worth the sale price to waste some time when brain fried after work.

it's like Vampire Survivors but with sci-fi theme. This gives the ability to upgrade the robot your playing as . This also use mods that can suit your play style. For example you want to get small boost to fire rates at each level then you can get the mod that allows for that growth via brain mod chip for a robot." Think Nier:Automata " For other things like bugs and what not I have not found any so far. My biggest grip is the slower pace on leveling. EVERY thing is bottleneck at in game achievements. you can not just play you got to grind in game achievements to open more things to play with. The worst part is that you can see all the stuff you can not open or mess with until you unlocked achievements. Eh to be honest Vampire Survivors does that better to keep stuff hidden until you unlock it but that is my opinion. Ok the last thing if you are interested about the game then you going to have to read Chinese traditional, or google translate the web page. Here you can find out that ether the original name is GreedEarth or that is how it is translated with google translate Funny but that sounds like a better name then Greedland again just my opinion.
