Store page says "Cronenberg-inspired". As someone so obsessed with Cronenberg that my biggest achievement in life is HUGGING CRONENBERG AND SOBBING IN HIS ARMS - I tell you this game is not Cronenberg by any means. Right from the beginning it's clear the entity is supernatural/occult. My disappointment was immeasurable. I was about to look up where the dev lives and sprinkle his bedroom full of legos to step on. But then I gave up on my cartoon villain plans because this story turned out to be amazing. This game is more like a very short lightweight point-and-click with minimal mechanics. It's immersive, it made me invested. I am hard to entertain and this game entertained me so much that I spent 4 hours on it in one day. Even though the game has very ugly graphics and minimalistic soundscapes, I thought it was fitting since its strength was in the story, and these visual and sound elements were decent enough to act as a vessel. First normal playthru - I got the bad ending, I was naive! Second playthru, strictly aiming to get the good ending - I got the good ending. An absolute mindfxck of a story in the best possible way. In fact, now that I've played it, I feel like I want more. I need more of this lore. I am mad that this isn't a novel already!! The bad ending calls for a continuation. I don't even know how could I describe it without spoiling. If you're thinking about getting this game, then I can assure you it's well worth the price and the short time to play through. My only gripe is that the store page description is very misleading. It's just way too simple of a mechanic to call it "virtual pet elements" and "Cronenberg-inspired" made me think this would be about a human being going through some transformation or violation or something among his materialistic themes of human condition or something more philosophical. Definitely not this. So overall I feel I was misled, BUT I am not mad in the end since I got an amazing story that I didn't regret for a second. Congrats to the dev Yames for creating such an amazing art piece. It was beautiful. 「 ✦ Too much doubt can suffocate even the surest thing. Only with patience and growth and nurturing does something become what it will be ✦ 」 - favourite line. I need to add that I was not able to take screenshots with steam overlay.

Creepy setting and atmosphere but it can get a little tedious with the trash collecting.

A short but well crafted horror game, with what is clearly a lot of passion put into it.

I am absolutely OBSESSED with the art direction in this game! It might have a pretty short playtime, but it really packs a punch and is well worth the 5 bucks imo. I cannot wait to see more from Yames in the future <3
