Gunpoint is a very good little indie game. From the same developer who made "Tactical Breach Wizards" and "Heat Signature" ! Seems like the dev has a thing for mixing stealth with tactics in his gameplay. Reminiscent of games such as "Door Kickers (2014)" or "Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun (2016)". The writing is fun and the levels are quite challenging but not too much. The controls were fine and jazz music was perfect for a detective/spy game. From what I read, the dev was a game critic who decided to step up and make his own games. "If you want to do something right, do it yourself." Respectable. Quite short and cheap game. Worth checking out.

I expected this game to be full of stealth and action. And it was, but it felt like playing a puzzle game most of the time. It's also fairly short, but that's a good thing for me, I'm an old man now, can't spend dozens of hours on every game I play. The writing is superb, great sense of humor, not dissimilar to their later game Heat Signature. Strongly recommend.

Simple, but pretty damn cool. Took me about 3 hours to get my first ending, and there's still a bunch of shiz left to do. Got it on sale for a buck but absolutely worth full price. Fun mechanics, an alright story, and some actually really funny moments. Gonna look for a sequel now... maybe something done by the same developer.

Now you're thinking with wires. I've had this game in my library for a long time (at least a decade, sheesh) but never got around to fully experiencing it. Like other reviewers have mentioned, it's a short game, and the puzzles never really get too complex, but it has just the right amount of humor and subterfuge shenanigans to balance out its shortcomings. The story is decently intriguing, pokes fun at itself and various tropes, and makes neat references to old detective fiction. Some of your choices do matter. And each main character is memorable, but unfortunately the story ends without much closure. Gameplay-wise you can leap through the air, crawl up buildings, rewire appliances to your fancy, and listen to classy jazz while beating the daylights out of an unsuspecting guard. You can be completely stealthy, completely overt or anywhere in-between. I played through the game a second time to finish some achievements and I enjoyed speeding through everything again. Overall this is some good light fun, can't go wrong if you're in the mood for 2D stealth, silliness and brainteasers.

A great, simple, yet not always easy idea for a game packed with a greater sense of humour. I would recommend!
