This work is a quintessential example of "wasted moe" style. It doesn't focus on complex and profound plots but instead aims to create a light fantasy for its target audience. If you're part of that target audience, you're likely to enjoy it. However, if you're looking for more well rounded characters and emotional resonance, this might not be the right choice for you.
