It was a pretty good game. Much more to do than the old Quest for Glory games they made back in the day. That said, I wouldn't call it a successor. It just didn't scratch the same itch, I guess. Of course it doesn't have to.

currently on my 2nd play through. Its not Quest for Glory but unique in its own way. Truly enjoy this one.

Essentially, it's a Western RPG Persona. Who wouldn't love that. Sweet and charming, just enough of a throwback to old role-playing games (especially Quest for Glory) without drowning in nostalgia. On my fourth playthrough on two platforms, and I really do hope they make that sequel.

This is a great game. I'm pretty jaded about point and click games in general, but this is just nicely realised and balanced and a fun experience.
