ICY is a choose your own adventure with light survival elements. You lead your ragtag band of survivors through a frozen post apocalyptic wasteland in order to rescue your friends and maybe even find a home. The story is decent but not outstanding there are a few branching paths which culminate in a small number of endings. The combat is simple but surprisingly tense as you and your opponents race to kill or be killed. Definitely worth a play if you like these sorts of visual novel type adventure games. Might not be worth full price but your mileage may vary.

Overall, 'ICY: Frostbite Edition" is a solid addition to post-apocalyptic games; Not perfect and not bad with very atmospheric music and gameplay. The difficulty revolves around resource collection and acquiring the tools needed to gather more resources safely. A game you can play while trying to get some sleep and are feeling restless. There's enough content to stay entertained for some time. 7.5/10 (the battle music is not very tralalalala, more like bad "lisa the painful" ear aching madness.. maybe just heartbeats that increase as the battle goes on would've been pretty.. cold)
