Grab a few good friends — even the ones whose peak cooking skill is making instant spaghetti — and throw them straight into the kitchen. The game offers a solid variety of recipes, a lively culinary setting, and a gameplay loop clearly designed for chaotic co-op fun. Running a kitchen together can be genuinely exciting, especially when everyone has to stay quick, organized, and ready to adapt to the madness of preparing dishes under pressure. Of course, things don’t always run smoothly. Bugs occasionally show up and multiplayer desync can happen, but oddly enough those moments sometimes create the funniest situations during a session. When the kitchen turns into total chaos, it often ends up being part of the fun. What really surprised me is the level of detail and the freedom to design your own restaurant space. You can build a stylish, modern kitchen and even turn it into something like a kebab house. Still, I have to take a few points off for cooking mechanics that can feel frustrating at times and a preparation system that occasionally becomes unnecessarily chaotic. Also, if you take a long break from the game, getting back into the flow isn’t exactly beginner-friendly. Despite its rough edges, it’s a fun multiplayer cooking simulator that shines most when played with friends. 🍳7/10🌯

Possibly the single greatest game ever created. Kebab Chefs is an artistic masterpiece which offers extensive insight into the human condition and poses some truly thought provoking questions, such as: Is it really ok for my restaurant to exclusively serve food that I made the night before and microwaved today to serve it again? The answer to such questions lies within your heart.

I recommend the game but please read the long review. In this game leveling up is easy. But quite grindy to maintain that upped level properly. This is a really cute game AND equally tough to manage lol.. 😂 I request to DEVs please don't get me wrong. The game is honestly cute. I love all characters walking around, lively city, shops to buy ingredients, the graphics style, recent HUGE and FREE bakery update, Just because of this cuteness and my love for cooking games made me buy it even though I knew I'll never be good at this game. 😅 This game is solely for multiplayer. Solo players like me will look for a moment to breathe if gone wrong. Customer patience meter is low and food servings available in one cook is low as well. So when your restaurant is gaining fame, customers will come in more. Each of them won't have much patience, the food servings will end in a blink. But before you can cook the next serving -- your customer will rush out in anger. 😡 There's no setting available to turn up the patience meter longer or increase the servings number. So a solo player is never able to offer more than 2/3 recipes in their restaurant menu .🙄 The cooking process is not very easy as well. You'll level up soon but you gonna need couple practice cooks to offer servings after servings to your customers without loosing them. Ingredients will run out quickly. Every ingredient needs extra step to be prepared to use in the cooking/garnishing which is realistic I'd say. It's very easy to make mistakes during cooking if you're not paying attention. And throwing away food will decrease your ingredients quickly. In the middle of rush hour -- you'll find you're out of ingredients. You gotta wash your plates too or you will run out of plates to serve customers. Another and again another hurdle! 😭 Don't worry. There are some perks you can unlock to mildly help yourself, not much though. There's a Free mode too but it's a little odd. It's not like you're able to run a restaurant in free mode. It's rather a practice mode, NOT a sandbox mode. It's unnecessary but I use it to memorize recipes I've unlocked in career mode. So that I can cook and offer them to customers quickly. 😮💨 The game isn't much graphics heavy which is good. A mid-range PC/gaming laptop can handle it. The DEVs have recently released a whole free DLC to introduce baking side of culinary and a new map. Another con is -- some career mode recipes are locked behind gourmet challenges which I don't like. It's not fair to insist to enter a challenge to unlock recipes. 🙁 The game is addictive but a little simplicity, and a real Free/Sandbox restaurant mode with lots of customisable options are needed. There are some pesky bugs too which enters quickly but takes time to go away.

The best cooking/restaurant management game I've seen on Steam Note: I played the game offline for 10+ hours, don't be fooled by the time Positives ✅ It has really smooth gameplay ✅ Co-op is great ✅ Various recipes ✅ Plenty of kitchen tools ✅ We can handle 3 or more customers with one meal Negatives ❌ Since the employees come at an advanced level of the game, you have to deal with a lot of work on your own at the beginning of the game ❌ It would be much better if the customers would sit at the table and call us to order instead of getting the food themselves and we would take the order and make the food (I hope this feature comes) ❌ If a new recipe is opened when you start a new day in the game and you open this recipe and leave the game without making the food, you cannot open that recipe when you entered the game, it remains locked (this is a very serious problem) Despite its shortcomings, it is extremely enjoyable, especially playing with a friend is very sweet, definitely give it a chance.
