This is just a great game. I have played many of these job simulators but most of them get boring and repetetive fast. You sit behind the cash register and fill up the shelves. All addons are just more shelves. Here you really have a lot of things to do every workday. Almost too much an the beginning. Selling Tickets, repairing stuff, cleaning stuff, restock vending machines, sell snacks, find vandals, drunk and cheaters and clean up their mess and more things. They have a huge upgrade tree and, what i like most, you park really changes multiple times. At the start your park looks like in a third world country, then it evolves into a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ public pool, then a nice resort, a tropical park and some rich people marble bath. It looks so bad at the start and later it becomes a waterpark that i would love to visit. And at launch they added Inca, Pirate and Ocean themed stuff, too. I started it 4 times over and every time my park looked different. In the end, it's a job simulator. If you think they are boring, this one will be too. But if you like job sims you should give it a try, it's one of the best.
Honestly don't have much to say but the truth. It's a damn good game. I watched CaseOh play it and thought it looked fun, so I bought it a few days after full release and holy crap man. As of writing this I have 32 hours across 3 days of game ownership. It has such an addicting gameplay loop, build new stuff, save up research points, get new stuff, repeat. It's actually really well balanced compared to other skill tree based games I've played before, it doesn't feel like a drag when you have to grind, but you still feel acomplished when you get the next star for your park. Buy waterpark simulator. It's so worth it.
Without this game I never would've known successfully running a waterpark all came down to your ability to fight off visibly smelly perverted old women who are trying to take pictures of showering women while serving them completely unrefrigerated, day old hotdogs and warm lemonade. I have found my calling. Very educational. 10/10.
