March 2026
Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access? “Yes! We want our Early Access supporters to get Go-Go Town! for the best possible price, reflecting its in-development state - think of it like a discount for being an early bird. We haven’t decided on the exact release price yet, but you can expect a small price increase once we launch.” In the roadmap, Version 1.0 releases next (Q2) as we've already had the Lunar New Year + Valentine's update. Recommend you get on sale before that 1.0 price increase. I've had this on my wishlist since PC Gaming Show 2024, I've played 2.5 hours couch co-op with my sister - we love it, we havent ran into any issues, co-op players can do whatever they want without the game pausing or stopping for other players (e.g. going into build mode, going into different areas/rooms) and it feels like there's lots of to do. Things I Like: +++ Cosy City Builder: I haven't really played games like Stardew Valley or MySims or Animal Crossing, so the relaxing gameplay here is refreshing and the cute vibes and upbeat music make the experience uplifting! I find that this game moves at a pace where there's always something to do (hence the title). Collecting resources is a fast chore. The build controls are snappy and you can always relocate or move something without a hassle. And there's lots of objects, items and paint tools to make your town your home. +++ Couch Co-op: I will forever praise a game for having Couch co-op, here it's up to 4 Players split-screen! I've been playing with one other person and we've never had an issue with controls or the camera or losing functionality because someone opened a menu or went into another area/room or something. Freedom! +++ Character Customisation: Lots of items and objects already unlocked that allow you to create cute or whacky characters and there's even more to be found in little loot boxes around the map. ++ Good Soundtrack: Some uplifting bops in here! You might hear a few repeated songs over the hours but you can choose what songs play and what don't if you get sick of one. ++ Vehicles: Plenty of vehicles around and there's the ability to pocket certain vehicles so you can get around in a flash. You can also find unique vehicles out in the wilds! + Choice of Villagers: You dont have to hire every person you meet, you can choose to ignore them if you fancy. You can also decide where they live and what their job is. And again, you can find rare and whacky villagers out in the wilds too. + Updates: Still getting updates as we reach 1.0 release this year. I've had this on my wishlist since PC Gaming Show 2024 and every time I check on it they've added something fun and great. +++ Price: For the one time price of £16.75, you and your couch co-op pal get to have a fun cozy experience building things together! Get it low while you still can! Things I Dislike: erm... --- Mortality: In the absence of anything bad to say about the game, I'll do the opposite and say I wish I could play good games like this 'til the end of time. Damn this mortal coil!

This game is amazing, BUT after you "beat it" there's not much to do and I really don't want this game to die so fast like this, so they really should bring some kind of "unlimited aventure", like the "infinite" caves system from stardew valley for an example, it's brilliant, they should do something similar for the game to last, especially among those who love the keep exploring...

This game is unexpectedly addictive and absolutely delightful. I’ve spent more time than I’d like to admit carefully designing my town, managing supply chains, and pretending I'm some kind of cozy industrial tycoon. The resource gathering and objective-based unlocks are genuinely satisfying—perfect for those who love structured progression and a good to-do list. Even in early access, the game offers a solid foundation. It’s clear the developers are putting in the work, and I’m excited to see where it goes. That said, content-wise, it’s a bit like a delicious snack—enjoyable, but over a little too soon. I hit the current endgame faster than I expected, but I’m hopeful future updates will keep me coming back for more. Now, let’s talk about the workers. Bless them, but their storage habits are… chaotic. Imagine painstakingly sorting your inventory, only to have someone walk in and throw rocks on top of your perfectly stacked cement. Every. Single. Time. It’s a minor gripe, sure—but if you’re the type who organizes their desktop icons by color and category, this might drive you mildly insane. (Still love them, though.) Overall, it’s a relaxing and engaging game with tons of charm and real potential. I only stopped playing because, well, humans need sleep. If this is just early access, I can’t wait to see the polished version—hopefully with smarter storage etiquette.

I bought this game less than 24 hours ago and I've already played for 9.5 hours. I play a lot of management games, but there's something different about this one. And there is so much to do in this game! The game does a great job of tiptoeing you into growing your town without overwhelming or handholding you. It is highly addicting and runs fantastic on Steam Deck.
