If you're on the fence about getting this, just take a look at the average times played between negative and positive reviews. "I've spent some time but I just don't like 'X'" - 1 Hour on record "Nothing interesting to do here". - 1.5 hours on record "I just really don't like the server lag, but otherwise its fun" - 850 hours on record Its a sandbox building game. I'm not sure why anyone is expecting a massive campaign? Once you start to understand how the vehicle builder works, the opportunities become endless. Take a little time to learn how the scenario builder works, and you can manufacture fun missions to play by yourself or with friends.

I've been part of all of this game's closed betas, since it was still called Balsa, and while there are obviously issues still, the game has evolved far past its original release as Balsa Flight Sim. The graphics are simplistic, although very pleasing. The controls are simple and easy to get a feel for very quickly Building has some bugs, but personally, nothing that stops me from enjoying it. Multiplayer is suprisingly stable and it is extremely fun to fly around with friends, or randoms. I do not fully understand leaving early access, because a lot of the game is clearly not finished yet, but i also dont dislike the choice. I hope this game continues to grow and improve as it has been doing (although maybe a little bit faster) but as it is, it is absolutely not a purchase i regret and i definitely recommend it. There's a lot of fun to be had.

This is a way-cool little game. If you've ever thought it would be neat to fly an RC airplane but don't have the hundreds of hours available for construction and thousands of dollars available for kits, radios, engines, and other parts - this game is for you! But the fun doesn't stop with just planes - you can also "build" RC cars and boats as well. Let your imagination run wild!

After the colossal failure of KSP2, it was refreshing to get a look at what KSP's original creator (who had no input on the sequel) has been up to. KitHack is a relaxing no-pressure model airplane/boat/car/whatever simulator where crashing is part of the fun, and the build tools are impressive.

Currently I recommend this game as I am having fun with it, but this is with some very big asterisks as currently I think the game is only really suitable for people with very niche interests and most people will find it frustrating. Currently we’re testing the game, not playing it. If we don’t see a big fix in a suitable time frame I’m going to get bored and give up on it. The good: - Lovely game world that is beautiful and fun to explore - Good physics, most things work how you would expect them to - Massive potential to get better, and is being actively worked on and improved - Community working really hard to make the most of it The bad: - Terribly optimised. Barely runs on 30fps 720 in minimum settings on my pc (2070,9700k,16gb) will not work on a lot of peoples computers. - Not really any content. The first ‘proof of concept’ missions and scenarios are trickling out the workshop but none of them are particularly good, consistent or fun yet. - Several extremely frustrating, inconsistent bugs that mean you spend most of your playtime resetting, troubleshooting and fiddling not having fun. - Limited build options, many pointless props and pieces that mean all builds end up the same. Not much variety - Many parts of the game currently exist ‘in theory’ rather than in any usable state. - Desperately needed QOL features that make for a lot of extra clicking, resetting, clicking again. It’s very frustrating.
