The game is an absolute undervalued VR treasure. Yes, it definitely has some jank to it and there are frustrating things that can happen because of that. But! if you are looking for an atmospheric survival horror you can play with friends, it's incredibly fun. Proximity chat is required for the true experience. My recommendation is to do some {legal} dregs and hop on in and let yourself be immersed.
This is probably the best labyrinth game on steam ever, for some reason not so many people play it tho. A few optimisations could be making the interface for case files bigger, sometimes (actually often) i cannot see what is written there, like nothing. Also some sort of map information would be helpful, i aint gonna set 30 map icons in my head and what they contain in it, kinda the same goes with the entities, could be fixed with some tooltips. Other than that, this game is really great for coop gameplay, playing the story is really fun and sometimes even funny, the puzzles are also well made. Case files can get repetitive after like 50 times, and i HATE theese ghost entities because they are basic to invisible and scream in a volume that my ears are bleeding, meaning i cant put on some music while grinding levels. Still i love this game, idk why it doesnt have that big of a player base, because the concept is pretty fun i probably said everything fifty times in this review but idk better than one line saying great game love it
Labyrinthine is a surprisingly fun game for a small price. The atmosphere of the maze is creepy and tense, but the real magic happens when you play in multiplayer. With friends, every run feels fresh and unpredictable, full of laughter, panic, and moments where you all try to stick together but end up running in different directions. The replay value is huge because no two sessions feel the same. Sometimes you manage to stay organized as a team, other times it’s complete chaos, and that’s exactly what makes it so entertaining. For such a low cost, you get a game that can keep you engaged for hours, especially if you enjoy co-op horror experiences.
