Conflating bureaucracy and cosmic horror just seems like the perfect basis for a bad creepypasta. The setup leads towards a promising gameplay loop, the UI hinders it and the gameplay never bites onto complexities that are seemingly first implied. The game also SERIOUSLY stops within 5 minutes after the introduction of the main baddie, which poses a cluster of problems: there's no final boss moment, other than the introduction. No fight. No problem solving. Just a cutscene and a Y/N choice. Secondly, the pacing leading up to the boss introduction, along with the general flow-of-night seem woefully unconcerted. It's a spooky, charming little mess. As a game that someone can reasonably complete in under 2 hours, with it's current price point, it's definitely worth picking up if you're about indie horror or other bureaucracy sims like Papers Please, but it just didn't have enough time in the oven to fully become a full-fledged original thing. As indie horror, there's a place for it. As a freshman effort from a (seemingly) one-man studio, it's impressive. As a game with a rewarding game loop, good writing (the story is fine), and proper pacing + a well-sealed ending? It's disappointing to say the least.

I thought this was a really beautiful and moody horror game with an interesting concept and mechanics. The styling and atmosphere were great. I ended up playing through it twice since there’s no save system, mostly to see if there were multiple endings (kind of… but also not really). A few things did frustrate me, though. There’s no pause menu, save option, or autosave at the moment. I also got a bunch of reports “wrong” without any clear reason why. Even after going back and checking the footage and reports, I couldn’t tell what I’d missed. I’m guessing it was stuff like someone fishing in a legal vs. illegal area, but there’s no real way to know, and the game doesn’t explain. Also, not sure if this was a bug (I played it on release day), but some of the dates on the reports were ahead of the current in-game date, and I couldn’t tell if that was intentional or not... or what I was supposed to do about it. Eventually I gave up trying to get a perfect run because no matter how carefully I checked everything, I still ended up getting it “wrong.” I tried to restart about 10 times. That said, I still really liked the game overall and would recommend it to anyone who’s into ranger horror or shorter, atmospheric horror games. It’s a great one to play on a rainy night.

Very solid short little horror game that perhaps could have been a bit longer but is still well worth the price and I look forward to get the other endings!

This is a game that I would describe a cosy horror. Got one of the two main endings and I still have to figure out other mysteries and play through it a bit. The writing isn't the best in some areas and the pacing goes by really quickly, there should have definitely been more setup and more time with the mechanics. It would have also been nice if the live cameras and the map park tracker software actually served more purpose? The art, animation and sound direction are really where this game shines the brightest, I was captivated and fascinated by the setting which is what hooked me into the game in the first place and is definitely what kept me playing despite the flaws in writing. I Absolutely recommend this game if you want a nice cosy horror game for a low price and dont have hours to spend grinding to finish it.
