the game is not really scary so much as it's tense, but even then, it doesn't have crazy amounts of tension. it has a very unique way of displaying the game, with everything presented in this long strip across your screen. after playing it, though, i have to admit that it actually works really well. i personally found the directions a little unclear sometimes, but I was high when I played it, so maybe that was just me. either way,iI appreciate that there aren't a bunch of annoying on-screen markers telling you where to go. if you want to play this, i'd recommend grabbing a controller and kicking back. The story has pretty good immersion, and is the kind of game that's better when you just sit back and let it play out. I honestly recommend getting "DISTRAINT 2" as well. It continues the story and gives additional context to a lot of things, including why the main "horror" is an elephant
An absolute gem i remember playing this on mobile a demo of this and i was surprised on how good it was memorable characters, great theme, great story and after some years i decided to buy the full version butttttt wait a min!!!!!!!!! this game isnt in the playstore anymore????? so basically i spent weeks asking ai decribing the game i played after countless hours i finally found out what game it was and the game is fairly priced aswell absolute gem it's a unique game not for everyone
2D adventure game with elements of psychological horror, in which you are a young man named Price facing the consequences of his actions as he robs people of their possessions ✅Good, engaging storyline and, for me, a surprising ending ✅Funny dialogues of our main character ✅There are often places where we can save the game ✅Dark, atmospheric mood – such games are the best ✅Good sound design and matching to the place where we are ✅The graphics are of good quality, with an artistic style that fits the atmosphere ✅Lots of different characters ✅Various puzzles of a good level ✅The price is good for the content ✅❌The controls are intuitive and smooth thanks to the classic point & click, i.e., you click where you want to go, and the character follows automatically (on the Steam Deck, it looked like I had to move with the Steam Deck's mushroom button), but limited to designated paths and the screen, without freedom or dynamic interactions ❌I think this game should have somewhere a description of what to do and what we are looking for at the moment ❌There is no option to run faster ❌In my opinion, there could be some short combat sequences here ✅✅Verdict: Terrible , Bad , Mediocre , Decent , Good , Very Good (Rating scale for tested game) If you want to see more of my reviews, you can find me on my curator page: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45994324/ and on my group: https://steamcommunity.com/groups/CuratorKingViking If you have any questions about my reviews, feel free to ask.
