Despite being over 60 I still have enough hand-eye coordination to enjoy this silly but engaging spoof on the Pirates films! great puzzle solving to keep the rusting brain cells ticking over. Recommended for those needing a simpler way to relax and enjoy.

LEGO® Bob™ Official Review: I first played this game years ago on my Xbox 360. I never 100%ed it or really ever played beyond the story. I remember replaying the demo version over and over again until I got the full game. I do not like the "older" LEGO games on PC. There are no achievements and are poorly optimized. Pirates crashed constantly and I ran into a bunch of bugs that forced me to restart the level. The level design was very good and had some cool skyboxes and props. The soundtrack is iconic, 10/10. Free play was pretty annoying, especially with the constant crashes and bugs. The compass was a cool gimmick at first, but I hated it during free play. I wish they would have included the red hats (this games version of the red bricks) in the levels rather than scattered throughout the hub and replaced it with some sort of compass puzzle. The "secret level" was a cool idea and definitely could have just been another collect 1M studs level. I didn't know it existed until recently so it was a nice surprise. LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean was a fun throwback to my childhood, but absolutely annoying to play on PC. It might be better on Steam Deck and obviously best on console. 7/10

10/10 Game, 0/10 Stability I love this game. I owned the original DVD version and have 100% completed the Steam version three times with my partner, from dating to married! Like other Traveler's Tales LEGO games, it is the definition of a perfect casual co-op game that ages like wine and is timeless. But I cannot recommend it without a major warning: The crashes are relentless. It is absolutely awful to try and enjoy a session when the game is unstable. Despite looking for solutions like changing the refresh rate, enabling vertical sync, disabling some extras, launch options, and compatibility mode, there seems to be no consistent fix. It is heartbreaking that such a great game is held back by such frustrating technical failure.

Despite some game crashes this is a very solid game, even 14 years later. Was very fun replaying it. If you are a fan of Pirates of the Caribbean this game is a must have!
