March 2026
I honestly didn’t expect to get hooked this much when I first launched the game. I opened it just to try it for a bit… and ended up playing for hours. It’s one of those games that looks simple at first, but somehow keeps you coming back for "just one more trip", the core idea is managing your own train and traveling between different locations while transporting passengers, as you keep playing, you unlock new areas, meet different characters, and slowly improve your train, the progression feels really natural, you start small, with a very basic setup, and over time your train becomes more efficient and capable. Watching it evolve little by little is surprisingly satisfying, what really stood out to me is the overall atmosphere, the whole experience feels very cozy and relaxing, the environments are beautiful and full of small details that make the world feel alive, traveling through different landscapes never really gets boring because each area has its own vibe and charm. Sometimes I found myself just enjoying the ride and looking at the scenery, another thing I really loved is how the game introduces new things gradually, you’re constantly discovering something new, whether it’s a location, a passenger, or an upgrade. It never feels overwhelming, but it also never feels repetitive, the soundtrack deserves a special mention too, the original Lo-Fi music fits the game perfectly, it creates this super chill atmosphere that makes the whole experience even more relaxing, there were moments where I just let the game run while listening to the music because it’s that pleasant. It really complements the feeling of traveling and makes the journeys feel calm and peaceful, the pacing is also great, there’s no pressure, no stressful mechanics, and you can take your time with everything, it’s the perfect type of game to play after a long day when you just want to unwind for a while, visually, it’s also really charming, the art style is simple but very warm, and the little details in the animations and environments show how much care went into the game. It feels like a world that was crafted with love, overall, this ended up being a really pleasant surprise for me, it’s relaxing, charming, and just genuinely enjoyable to spend time in, if you like cozy games, relaxing gameplay, and chill soundtracks, this is definitely worth checking out ❤️

I personally really appreciated the freedom of this game. It's a lot of running around/fetching, doing quests- which I personally didn't mind. It was a nice game to dissociate too and really kept my mind off things. Was rather relaxing and not stressful, as there are no time constraints to complete quests or drop off passengers: you're able to mingle, explore and aimlessly do what you want, when you want. If that sounds up your alley, then I'd recommend you give it a try.

I really love the art style and the overall concept it's super charming and unique. But there are definitely some things that could be better. The Character customization is so adorable to begin with, and he gets different outfits later. You can’t adjust the point of view, which makes placing items kind of annoying since your character gets in the way. The mouse and keyboard controls feel a bit clunky, and inventory is a huge issue. Items only stack up to 4 and there's just not much space to store anything, which gets frustrating fast. Despite that, I still enjoyed playing it. The vibe is great and it’s clear a lot of love went into it. Just be ready for some small quality-of-life things that might get in the way. I'm also not super far into the game so this can totally get better with future storage solutions.

A great game cut short. While I wont complain about what I'd consider a solid 12 hour experience (with a bit more I imagine if you really wanted to craft, collect, find every blueprint and complete every single quest). But... there's a huge chunk of blank space on the map that really suggested that there was more to the game. I'll describe the good before elaborating on the kind of hitching point where it go's from a very good game, to just a good game or... a good but 'imperfect' game. First, everything is highly customizable, once you get more train cars, paints, wallpapers, accessories, you can basically make the cars as decorated as you want, hauling loads of people. I just kind of wished there was a second boxcar cause half way through it was becoming a choke point. I 'bet' there's a larger box car, but I didn't encounter it. Still, VERY customizable. Only drawback is that I wish there was an upgraded train that I could eventually earn, or even more visual upgrades for the train. Second, this is very much one of those #CozyGames, "Animal Crossing but with trains", which is something I wish they did sooner. The character customization is hit or miss, but even then its fairly decent. The clothing options are plentiful... though they kind of dump a bunch on the end and I'll bring up why later. Thirdly, while repetitive, as 90% of quests are delivery or fetch quests... its kind of what your getting yourself in for with a train game. Take X here, bring Terry over to visit the mountain, lots of small quests that you can do to get you additional resources. Its kind of fun getting a long route so you can max out the train speed and see your icon zip through the map. The gameplay is enjoyable. Now, the small cracks in the finish that suggest that the game was either cut short, rushed, or some other unfortunate circumstance that prevented the devs from getting everything they want in there. ((Though I'll note, they did get in a majority of what you need in this game)) The BIG thing is the rushed ending. I won't go into spoilers, but you basically need to find some rocks, feed it to a thing, then you find more of the thing, you collect three objects with one being slightly more involved. Then when you get that, the beach is immediately unlocked, you get the achivement for 'getting all the stations', and then you grab someone and go to visit an island where a sweet thing happens and then you travel back home. Now, this is the thing, the 'beach' was a location that had been added into the map half way through the game, a rail line with a big red X on it. When you cleared out the first one, it opened up into a huge section of the map equal in size to the starting map. So I was expecting maybe a new large island with more locations. But instead it opens up immediately, without having to clear out debris or fixing the rail, and it reveals to be a tiny single location, a tiny little island. NOW, I wouldn't be as dissapointed... but... when I drag the cursor over to the right, there's a vast void of blank space that is on the right side of the map, 'suggesting' that there's a location there, like the previous one. It doesn't do this on the left side. This suggests that there might have been a ton of cut content. This also includes the final island having a blocked off cave that has a trail going to it. There's also a fairly significant bit of plot that's missing, particularly a pair of characters, with one being fairly antagonistic to the other, built up through out the story that you get a hint of what happened between them. And there's no conclusion, after a particular mission it never gets mentioned again. And its not like this happens 'often', there's a similar story arc with two characters butting heads until realizing it was all some mistake and wrapping it up with a bow. There are also some side characters that barely get touched on, specifically two birds that you help pull radishes at the start of the game, and then... just *nothing*. You occasionally ask them about stuff but... they never help. While some characters get oodles of story, others are just one and done's, which is a shame cause there's plenty of character in these characters. Then... there are the bugs. I'm playing the game fairly early, but there's a graphical glitch where theres a suitcase in the middle of the rails, I assume a spawn point marker. Character pathing is glitchy, sometimes quests dont get activated or they wont let you take their bags for a nessisary quest. Nothing a quick restart cant fix, but even then, its an inconvenience. I like this game, but it feels like there was a passionate set of creators who were told to cut their project short and get it out the door because the company ran out of money. So it coudln't get that final bit of love and care to make it from a good game to a great one. There's a room you can go into (one of the only rooms you can enter) where there are sketches of locomotives on the wall, that are clearly game prototype sketches, and there are several different trains, including one modeled 'model' train that is clearly different from the one you get, and might have been left over as a train upgrade. I really really hope that one day this game does get an overhaul, a DLC, a bit more care to make it feel more complete. Which makes it sound like its an 'incomplete' game but, everything works, the story does complete its arc, but, you can tell something big was cut.
