The best Picross game available on Steam if you judge solely by the puzzles, a definite must-play for fans. Some of the later puzzles are genuinely very challenging even for experienced players and require multiple steps of logical thinking, not just the basic 'overlap' techniques. Many of the larger puzzles took me about an hour to solve (not counting the times when I messed up too much and had to start over) and the hardest one took over 3 hours for a 40 x 30 puzzle. The implementation of this game is really good, too, with all the standard features you expect from a good Picross game like markers and the ability to fill-in over your Xs without erasing. The rewind feature is pretty neat for when you realize you made a careless mistake a few steps back, I'm glad that you can use it freely without it being counted as you being 'assisted'. Also, the auto-graying system is really smart when it comes to detecting when you made a mistake. I didn't care for the fusion minigame that you have to play to unlock the puzzles. It's neat to have a little story (and Emil is super cute), but I'm here to play Picross, not Doodle God. But with the hinting system and the ability to hide all fusion options that aren't relevant, it didn't bother me too much. The only thing that really bothered me is the music... there are multiple choices for the BGM, but unless you want to just hear the same song over and over you have to go in and change it yourself periodically. Please make an option to randomize which song is played when you open a puzzle and/or just loop through all of the songs. I ended up just muting the music and playing with podcasts or my own music.

Jupiter is the king of developing good nonogram puzzle video games and, unsurprisingly, Logiart Grimoire is another good nonogram puzzle video game even if it's got a bit too much fluff in it for my liking. There's a story, for one. Or I think so anyway; every time Emil spoke, I zoned out. Something about filling in a book. I don't know. Who cares? Do you like nonogram puzzle video games? Guess what: Logiart Grimoire is cool.

This is a wonderful nonogram puzzle game from the same team that has made some of the very best Picross games over the decades. The "fusion" gimmick adds a small but welcome spin on unlocking more puzzles. I was happy to see new puzzle content arrive today in the form of bite-sized (and fairly-priced) DLCs. Also, perfect Steam Deck game!

Excellent for puzzle game fans and plays great on Steam Deck. This is made by the developers of the Picross S series on Nintendo Switch - if you are familiar with the feel and quality of those titles, this game plays exactly the same on controller. I wish there was a "Color Picross" mode in this entry but with 280+ puzzles to solve, I highly recommend this to any Picross newcomers or veterans.

One of my favourite casual games to just sit with while i listen to Yt/Twitch/Spotity. Very fun and engaging to get good at, and I love the addition of the fusing to begin with. A huge amount of puzzles to complete and a cute UI and character story happening meanwhile. Very fun to 100% also. Wish there was even more ;-;
