To be clear, this is what people call a visual novel, so it's almost 100% reading, with a small amount of actual gameplay. I was surprised at just how caught up in the character's stories I found myself. Enough so that I found myself wondering if I had done 'x' or 'y' differently, if their stories would have ended up differently. For for most people will say is simply a Visual Novel, the character building/combat/itemization felt much more complete than other VNs. Give it a shot, especially if it's on sale.
