This game is one of the most perfect games you could get a young child as a gift (FOR THE WII OR A TOUCHSCREEN DEVICE). The wind mechanics are inspired and feel quite intuitive to control, the puzzles are well-crafted and just the right level of difficulty for a child at around preschool age, and the atmosphere is beautiful and serene. As a child, I spent hours upon hours playing this game on my mom's iPad, exploring this world, playing around with its mechanics, and trying to find every collectable. However, there are a few issues in this pc port of the game, most of them being the game crashing in inopportune moments and forcing you to restart from a save point, which, to be granted, aren't that far from each other. Unfortunately this breaks the immersion of the game a bit and demotivated me to continue with my playthrough for a bit. Thankfully, this isn't an extremely long game, so it wasn't that big of an issue, all things considered. In addition, one small issue of the control scheme not working that well for keyboard and mouse comes up, but it's not that serious, the controls still feel fluid and responsive enough to not notice most of the time. TLDR~ This game is an amazing game to gift to a child in the preschool age (as long as the device it's on supports touchscreen). There are a few occasional bugs, but I promise they (or you) will enjoy it very much!
I own this game both on my Wii and my iPad a long time ago, but never got around to finishing it until now. Pretty short, but charming game relying using wind to platform and solve simple puzzles. I’ll give it a recommendation to anyone interested in getting all achievements to boost your gamer scores!

Yeah, it's actually good (surprisingly) Do not let this prehistoric graphics fool you, it's all about the content - making gestures with mouse, flying over enemies and cracking crystals. LostWinds is very simple, engaging platformer. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3732562800 What I liked a lot in this game, is that you can draw lines with your mouse and this either drags fire (helps to burn obstacles), or your char flies over big gaps (helps to reach collectibles), or you levitate spheres and eventually break crystals (helps to get to other areas). Or you can just draw lines like a maniac and laugh seeing the char falling sideways from the winds you created. Hey, be nice! Its levels are short, mission dialogues are brief (find memory chests, return and speak with dementia NPC), and the final short boss fight won't make you ragequit. Go on, play the game.
