A fantastic deal when on sale, this game has a fantastic Arkham Horror monster hoe-down feel to it. The complaints about lack of save & quit are overblown.

This is great. The negative reviews are a bit rough because I suppose some people don't know what a rogue-like game is. I've been playing roguelikes for years - Nethack, Rogue and then later incarnations like Noita and there is no save, there is no safety, there is no quiet happy place you can peace out and chill. Instead. You are in an unforgiving and brutal world. One miststep - as in real life and you are dead. If you love roguelikes and you are prepared to drive yourself around the bend in an attempt to save all of humanity where a single error sends you beyond madness and time and space then you will likely like this game. If you want a game that holds your hand and makes everying so, so, so easy then run away. Run away NOW!!! Muwahahahahah.

the game is really good, interesting Lovecraftian plot ideal for fans of the master of horror however, if you are not a patient person or love to complete achievements, I definitely recommend you to think twice before buying (achievements, or at least most of them are disgustingly difficult)(hard mode is something more like impossible sometimes) but overall it's graphics are captivating and convey the atmosphere well, and the soundtrack complements it all perfectly from a game masochist to others like me, of course, I recommend :*

Amazing Game! Top notch pixelart, fun and challenging gameplay, exquisite lovecraftian lore and tons of content! this is more than you can expect from triple A games companies nowadays. Already love it and I still haven't even played the rest of the characters. Can't wait to do so, I'm hooked! XD 10/10 game, Would definitely Iä Iä Cthulhu Fhtagn again.
