+ The game has great depth + Free in how many games or consoles i can run at once + Arcade Games + Building IPs (porting, sequels, spin-off, remake) so many options + Becoming an Engine Developer + Creating successful console generations + Being a Publisher - great (I think i never had a game with positive profit, but i like it) + Stable i have 0 technical issues with the game - it runs rock solid - It would be great if discovered game formulas would transition into new games (otherwise i use the guide too much) - Too much Micro - Always having to manage graphics, sound studio to develop for a game. 6 clicks too many - Campus layout: i don't like most of them. - Training mechanics are not great. It takes so long to train staff. My rotating department style does not work for me. For me the game tycoon that allows for most versatility.

if you played Game Dev Tycoon and you're having thoughts about this one, then the best way to describe this game is to imagine the jump in complexity and deep mechanics between Civilization and Crusader Kings. These guys hired an addiction expert to get you hooked up for days on this game, I spent a whole week playing it, and when I'm not, I'm thinking about it. it is stupid the amount of things you can do. - you can buy studios, and have crazy amounts of options for them, such as how much time they can spend on developing a game, or release exclusives on your own consoles, which IPs to focus on and genres and who to publish with. - budget your games and release bundles and DLC bundles and GOTY editions...etc. - do deals with publishers - separate your own developers across multiple teams and choose which are for developing new games, or releasing updates, and creating remakes for example - creating IPs or buying them from other companies, each IP has a value and generates certain amount of hype based on your previous releases, I basically copied the Mario formula, releasing spinoff party games, Karting games, even football games from the same stupid IP I created for what is originally an RPG game (and if you're short on cash, you can sell it, but dont, its not worth it if you have a good one, you can just make games and generate more money with it) - the game is funny when it comes to company names and legendary developers names. and many more that wont fit here, so all seems great, whats the catch? - horrible UI, it is moronic how many features I missed because some options weren't visible or easily accessible, buying other companies (Subsidiaries) for example was under the market stats page which didn't make sense and I thought it was a feature that will be available when I accomplish something, but no it was there all along I guess.. - Automation, this is a feature, but its not up to par with the depth of the game, the amount of mechanics and moving parts are way too many it feels like an airplane dashboard and the automation is a 2 button toy remote, either do everything at once, or nothing, I cant tell my R&D team to queue certain handpicked features I want, they have to research every single item on the planet one after another forever, or I have to go and do it manually every time. and the marketing department became my own office, I've spent more time on marketing than the actual development team, just make it so I can tell my marketeers to market every game and spend money automatically to a certain amount of hype, why limit it to one title only for each marketing room?, I have so many products in the market and its boring to click the same options 400 times for every game. there's a ton of shit you can do here, some are very well designed and some are not, but nevertheless it was REALLY fun.
