As someone who has actually conducted an orchestra, I have mixed feelings about this game. There are some parts that are very realistic, and other parts that feel like they added movements just for the sake of increasing difficulty. The dynamic gestures often don't make sense, and beating the tempo is often inconsistent and stops at times for no apparent reason. But somehow it still takes me back to being on the podium.

followed the game since alpha, they'd been silence a while until whatever state we are in atm. as someone who loves classical music, this is easily my top VR/simu game by far. in the rythmic-game category, its not as snappy as beat saber but its comparable which means its pretty freakin top tier already. i would love to see mod support for this game cuz imagine.. the amount of things that the community will do this game is gonna be crazy. super excited for the future of the game and i'd say if u got VR and a 20$ grab this game right after beat saber.

In a strange review, I'm recommending the game while also refunding it here on Steam. I buy all my VR games on Steam as I trust them significantly more than Meta to allow me to play games across platforms both now and in the future. However, the unique trick of this game is hand tracking to make you feel like a conductor. And while the Quest 3 is finally suited to this task, none of the PCVR streamers can quite keep up. Virtual Desktop (my usual go-to that's flawless with other wireless VR) and Steam Link weren't able to give me as clean an experience as the Meta Store version sadly and in a first. So the gameplay is really fun, the presentation is excellent, and I look forward to playing more of this. Unfortunately in this one exception I'll need to play it locally rather than PCVR. The movement, feel, and style are more important to me here than fidelity.

pretty fun, its not too hard as a rythm game, but it really makes you feel like conducting. the only thing missing is spatialized audio. I would love to hear different instruments in their actual physical positions instead of generic steromix.
