The Game takes place in a dystopian world in a country loosely based on the fictitious/mythological country of the USSR called "Kazormia". After being drafted to the war between Kazormia and The Alliance. Marfusha must take arms with her allies and defend the walls of her country utilizing all sorts of weapons and gadgets that are available to the player in the form of cards. The game plays as a tower defense in which you can move through the map controlling the main character. Each day a horde of enemies spawns and after being dealt with, the player is rewarded for their performance (based on the Wall's HP), leading to the next day in which a set of cards (these can be refreshed by a price) are given to the player in order to improve the character's stats or acquire new goodies. After a set ammount of days the player must face a boss fight, which cranks the difficulty up a bit, later you are taken to the dorm, in which you can read dialogues that expand the universe at the TV and the interactions between the characters -The gameplay loop is really addicting since it's a really fast game. -Marfusha has a really neat OST that may get repetitive since there aren't many tracks, but they aren't bad. -There are multiples endings depending on who is your companion and your performance during the waves. -The Challenge mode is a really fun experience post finishing the game but it's heavily reliant on good RNG (Tho it's nice to see the unique interactions between combinations of characters in the dorm.) -There's a Collection menu in which you can read about every ally you've met and the guns you've used. -Bit Harsh Translations. Marfusha: Sentinel Girls is a really fun experience, i didn't expect anything from it and came out surprised, tho a bit sharp around the edges, the formula was refined on it's sequel "Snezhinka: Sentinel Girls 2", i just wished it got the Quality of Life treatment it deserves. TL;DR: If you really like stuff like Girl's Frontline or just "cute girls with guns suffering through war" this is the game for you - My Final Score is: 8.5/10

A very good game with fun gameplay and simple, but really sad lore. Seems like the developer was really inspired by Girls' Frontline, and it makes the game's setting really appealing to me! Pros: -Cute girls -Cool weapons -Very good artstyle -The story -In general just a simple, but comfy and fun game :) Cons: -The music is not music at all. It's just 15 seconds tracks on repeat, so I recommend you to put Snezhinka's OST in background -The game upscales the UI when in fullscreen, making it blurry -Don't know if it's a bug or not, but when weapon durability shows 1, it means that it's already broken, which is kinda illogical and confusing at first -The weapons balance is kinda strange I put this game 8/10, all the cons I've listed are probably just my displeasures. Anyways, I really like the game and wish the developer good luck with future projects!

Great little game. Nice visuals and nothing bad can be said about the music, nor responsiveness of the controls. My only complaint is about the price. Even though is a game where you can burn a lot of hours, it's still pretty light on content. Get it at a discount.

This game makes me hate tax, gave me depression and make me ponder the futility of war. Its great. The gameplay loop is short but fun. Its a 2D roguelike static defense game where randomization comes from what you can purchase to make yourself stronger as you protect a gate from enemies that zerg rush straight for it.

reminded me of one of those old Adobe Flash Games from way back in the day. (yes I'm old.) just way more polished and does not lag or anything (compared to those Flash Games) very addictive. I appreciate the "stories" from all the different characters too. also, pixel-anime waifus,-which is tasteful. just finished clearing the Main Story with no Partner, was actually damn hard lol. will play more and possibly get every endings! also speaking of Endings those are quite interesting, hope we'll get some kind of after-story or sequel or stuff like that.
