A very good roguelike, It takes a little time before being able to have really powerful builds, But the more you play it the more addicted you'll become. You're health bar as the currency takes a while to master but it brings depth to the gameplay. Really satisfying to beat the challenges to unlock new artefacts. The ticket system before starting a game (more difficulty = more power ) is awesome !
I started playing Revita many years ago and recently rediscovered it, and I am still in love with this game. There are still many items for me to unlock, secrets to discover, and enemies to defeat. I highly recommend this game to anyone who likes challenging action roguelike platformers.
If you're buying this game in the big 2026, make sure to switch to the beta, you can still get everything from before but it has a lot of tweaks that improve the overall gameplay. Very peak action roguelike. Leans very hard into a risk/reward type of gameplay, as your health is also your currency. Beautiful art and music. Very respectful of your time with snappy transitions that keep you playing the game as much as possible.
It's pretty good. It takes a while for it to get there though. Almost all (it seems) of the items that you can get throughout a run, which alter your character / help you progress, are locked through a currency system. That currency is pretty slow to collect, but after a while you will have enough items unlock to diversify your runs and ultimately increase enjoyment.
