Goofy. Edgy. Over the top. Purposefully unbalanced. Entirely self-aware. Entirely unapologetic. Some of the most fun I've had in a fighting game. This world needs doujin fighters again.

Buy this game to support the devs and get the community edition! https://play.meltyblood.club/ I have only played arcade mode an screwed around in training mode Gameplay: The game is great. It feels like a mix of guilty gear and sf3. Basically the combos and air movement of GG. And the strategy and ground movement of sf3. It has a perfect balance of speed and mobility. Characters: Neco arc is in this game There are a lot of characters in this game and 3 versions of each character But the deer dude sucks to fight he puts deer and birds that hurt you that don’t go away if you hit him or the creature Online: This game doesn’t have role back netcode and no one is online (community edition has roleback and some people playing) Linux: Getting it working on my Linux took a second because either my controller wasn’t working or when I pressed start it hung on a black screen but I just used an older version of proton and it works just fine Overall ranking: Neco arc background 10/10 But get the community edition

Ignore my low playtime and lack of many achievements, I only bought the game on Steam to support the developers.. I like most play the free Community Edition which has rollback netcode and the bulk of the community using it. This is the best fighting game ever made and it is downright criminal this game isn't more popular than it is. This game is like Melee, no matter how old it gets you'll still find people playing it and pushing the meta further because it is genuinely a gift that keeps on giving. I LOVE Type Lumina too, don't get me wrong.. but AACC is the peak of Melty.. and imo the peak of the entire fighting game genre. This game is fast, frantic, exciting, satisfying, deep and stylish. Every moment of gameplay is an absolute joy and I genuinely do not get bored of this game. It's a basically flawless product outside of having.. Doujin balance, we'll call it.. but that's honestly just another part of its charm. You can't do better than Melty Blood AACC and whilst you should definitely NOT play this version as the CE is soooo much better.. it is 100% worth buying anyway to support the developers. Hop on Melty, babes. ♥
