9 hours in, I ragequit the game after a *very* bad run and wrote a VERY lengthy rant about how bad this game is and how overrated every Edmund game is, praying to god that he'd stop making games, concluding with the fact I'd NEVER return to this game. 44 hours later, I'm still playing and shooting for 100% completion. God, I hate this game.

Great game, loving it so far. My only complaints so far are: -No 'Borderless Fullscreen' mode (Thanks to @thedrom44 in the comments! their manual solution of selecting "Prefer Layered on DXGI" for Vulkan/OpenGl Preset Method on the NVIDIA control panel works!) -No aspect ratio support, (my laptop's display is 16:10 so i have black bars on the top and bottom) -Some inconsistent ability descriptions -Range not specified in most ability descriptions -No way of seeing your other cats' items and abilities mid-fight when its not their turn -Can't check inventory in shops Some complaints ive seen that I dont fully agree with: -"There should be an undo button" nuh uh -"I dont like seeing my cats getting hurt" did you look at what game you were buying -"Why so much poop, gore and fetuses" did you look at whose game you were buying

Edmund, you son of a gun, you did it again. Instant classic Pros: -absolutely bonkers soundtrack -deep and expressive gameplay that can create some hilarious emergent storytelling -cats -variety. There are so many unique enemies that require specific gameplans and a huge range of builds you can cobble together -nostalgic artstyle Cons -runs can take pretty long -Desperately needs QOL. Breeding and viewing individual cats is horrendous. Battle UI is bad and it is way too easy to misclick -the game is pretty grindy

I thought my tank having the "automatically eat corpses and heal" trait was a slam dunk. Turns out it means all corpses; Teammates included. He ate his entire squad then died of exhaustion when nothing else could kill him. Wonderful little game.

Like all of Edmund's games, the aesthetics make it seem like it was made by a 14-year-old that huffs glue until you realize it is so mechanically rich it must have been made by a truly motivated genius, and then you realize those two things are deeply intertwined. I can't stop playing. It's just so much fun. Please do not check in on me, because I do not want to be interrupted.
