So. I liked this game a lot before the most recent update. It is a roguelike deckbuilder game where you do runs to earn fame to unlock talents. Each class has 3 levels of talents to unlock to make them stronger, and the first 2 levels each have two options that you can change at any time after unlocking them. Then just general boosts, and companion boosts. It is a whole system. The additional classes DLC? worth it. it adds at least 6 classes with their own stuff. I like it because even after you unlock everything for a class, a complete run through is in No Way guaranteed. beating all 3 dungeons really takes some work, and a bit of RNG love to make it happen. All in all, a great little game that is lots of fun with a variety of enemies (you get to pick which dungeons you do each run!) to try to kill the Harbinger (spelling?) at the end of the third dungeon. give it a shot, give it some time to unlock some stuff (early unlocks are Fast.... get some general ones up top!) and realize that this game times time, strategy, and effort. Or you can just play through a couple dungeons real quick for some fame towards an unlock without much thought. :) All in all, a worthy game for your library if you like deck builders that at single player.
This game is HIGHLY underrated for the price. I have over 700 hours in Slay The Spire and this is probably the only rouge lite deck builder that actually has the same amount of variety albeit in different ways. Deck building is concise and rewarding, and progression feels really good when you get stronger. I found myself playing this from time to time even though i cleared the whole game. Also the original dev got the game back recently and is planning on releasing new stuff if that's inticing enough. (got the game for 2 bucks while on sale btw so it might be worthwhile to at least wishlist to get a sweet deal)
