If you’ve got ADHD or struggle to focus, give MR.FARMBOY a try. Weirdly enough, this game has been great for calming my brain while I’m working at my desk or doing something away from the keyboard. It’s one of those semi-idle games that keeps your mind engaged without demanding constant attention. The game puts you in the role of a citizen building up a farm in a kingdom. You’re given land, and over time you complete commissions that unlock more content and progression. You place farming tiles, hire workers to manage them, build houses for your workers, and upgrade everything as you go. You can also raise animals with sheds and coops, sell goods to villagers and keep expanding your little farming economy. What I like most is how easy the game is to learn. It has that relaxing “just one more upgrade” feeling, and you can tell the developer is actively working on improving it, which is always nice to see. That said, worker management still feels more tedious than it should. The developer improved it a bit in version 1.0.8, but I still think it needs more streamlining. I’d love a system where you could limit how many workers are assigned to a specific farm grid and then manage priorities directly from the worker houses. Something like that would make larger farms much smoother to handle. Overall, it’s a really enjoyable mix of simulation management and cozy farming vibes, kind of like a simpler idle-style take on Stardew Valley. I’ve been enjoying it a lot and definitely recommend it if you want something relaxing, low-pressure, and satisfying to play in the background.

Here are the pros and cons: Pros: [*]Simple, easy-to-learn gameplay that feels incredibly relaxing [*]A very smooth, well-designed gameplay system. [*]A well-designed leveling system. [*]The NPC worker AI is impressively well-designed. Cons: [*]The inventory UI could use some improvement Overall, it’s well worth buying. It offers a very relaxing experience after a long day of work.

If you like farming/gathering games, this one will suit your needs. If you read the description and think you'd like it, you probably will. I watched Orbital Potato on youtube play it, and I knew it would be my kind of game. The Developer is updating it regularly and he's very responsive to input, which are both positives for me.
