Nice mix of DRG and RoR with pleasant shooting and movement. Very promising in EA. I also like how the devs utilize the weirdcore graphical style.

Demo was good, game is good now, its your co-op shooter that you can also solo that also looks like a drug trip. Shoutouts to the ZlimBratSki for reminding his community that this gem exists too.

I have a review for the demo but I want to make a fresh one. I am posting this review as I am waiting 45m for the release of the game. I am so excited that I am prewriting the review. I have 48h on the demo. The game is a combination of DRG and RoR2. DRG aspect is from the HUB vibes amd RoR2 from the open area combat with enemies spawning out of nowhere. The game is simple, go in the mission, complete it, call extraction pod and finish. The whole fun in the game is: 1:Messing around in the HUB and target practicing with a build 2:Trying all the different builds. Every weapon and character has upgrades. The upgrades drop from enemies in rarities, green blue purple and yellow. After finishing the mission, you go to your loadout screen, right click on wepaon or character, from there oyu see all the upgrades you have to the right. You need to pay resources during missions to unlock them. Once unlocked, you can put them in the honeycomb slots, the upgrades come in shapes so you have to play tetris when you get a lot of them. Every character has skill trees and they didn't exist in the demo so as I am pre-writing this review, based on the demo content, I don't know what we will see. Lastly for the gameplay without spoiling much, shooting fungus with one weapon regenerates ammo to the other one. This is a very healthy way of not having 1 trick ponies letting you use all your tools. Oh 1 more thing I promise, if you happen to miss an upgrade by not grabing it, there is a lost loot dispenser in the HUB so you don't really need to worry about losing loot. This includes resources. There are a bit more to the building section but I don't want to spoil you, it's nothing you need someone explain it to you to understand unlike other games. Moving to the joujrney from demo to release. The demo by itself is worth 10 bucks for sure. I had 48h in it. After getting almost all the upgrades I stopped playing full time. We knew our demo progress would get wiped. I was missing elemental variants on a specific upgrade and an exotic upgrade that would just never drop for me. I had exams to study for too so it wasn't worth my time with the wipe. What you unlock NOW, STAYS. Don't worry. This is technically 1.0 release. Read the early access message the devs left. Devs are based. They listen to feedback, hop on discord and chat wwith the rest of us. Some of the devs are Destiny2 fans which is why you will see a few things similar to it like the upgrades droping in 3d shapes like in D2 or a secret there is to unlocking a weapon. They asked for a D2 streamer to play their game for an hour wwith them without any sponsor to get his honest opinion. The guy enjoyed the game, everyone was happy. The game is out now. Play the game that's my review. Last thing before I go, game is playable offline. Continue signing the stop killing games initiative. Have a good day/night/whatever, imma go play now, cya on their discord <3
