NASCAR Heat 4 is the best game in the NASCAR Heat series released by 704 Games. The controls are nice, plenty of content to go through, and the career mode, although a grind, offers endless replayability with 4 series. My only complaint, and this is a complaint dished out to all the NASCAR Heat titles, is the driving model. I am unsure if it is supposed to mimic the real cars, but at 95% of the tracks, you run one line and there is no other line to run to be quick. At a track like Bristol, you should be able to run the top line and be just as quick as the drivers on the bottom line, but that is not the case. Ironically enough, Kevin Harvick is on the cover of the game and his strategy of riding the bottom line at Atlanta is literally what you do at the majority of tracks. Besides that, NASCAR Heat 4 is a welcomed edition into the NASCAR Heat franchise and beats out NASCAR Heat 5 for not just being a soulless roster update.

I used to play the old NASCAR Heat from 2000 as a kid and this game reminds me a bit of it but of course new. Very good game I'd recommend to anyone who likes NASCAR!
