This game will devour your cpu because of an error so you have to creat a text file in the games folder and call it user.cfg then once youve done that paste the following: Thread.ProcessorCount 8 Thread.MaxProcessorCount 8 Thread.MinFreeProcessorCount 0 Thread.JobThreadPriority 0 GstRender.Thread.MaxProcessorCount 16" make sure u change the amount of cores to the amount your cpu has

Funny how EA abandoned this game, despite it being one of the best modern NFS games. Even so, Heat is the perfect blend of casual racing and sweat lord racing. Drive during the day to get money, collectibles, relax and test cars or drive during the night for reputation and adrenaline pumping cop chases. Cop chases become extra interesting if you're planning on doing the high heat races and banking the new upgrades without getting busted. Honestly, this game is a must play if you love arcade racing games. A real shame it was not supported further with extra content by EA, despite it having an active player base and community around it.
