If you have a very high tolerance for really janky games, this is a very rough and hidden gem. There is a lot to dislike about it, but there is about an equal amount of things that really stand out to keep you hooked. My biggest complaint is its difficulty. It is not an easy game. NPCs all seem to be very good at sniping you with pistols and the damage taken is incredibly high for how much damage you output. In short, it feels very unbalanced - at least until you get really good stats and equipment. Once you do, then it just seems balanced, but you don't truly feel OP. That is OK and when the game starts to feel more rewarding. Second complaint is the grind. In order to get great stats and equipment, there is a lot of terrain to cover to build up your skills and hoard loot to sell or use. Anything that can kill you will usually kill you... and quickly! So hoarding loot is difficult when you are inventory/weight limited and you can potentially permanently lose all the gear you were carrying. If you die, you get the option to collect your items from your corpse. Just be sure to remember to do it before you exit the game or on the random chance that it crashes. Bye, bye gear! Last complaint are the bugs and unfinished ideas. Some quests require restarting the game or dropping the quest to force spawn an item required by the quest. Some rare crashing which can lead to losing gear or progress and skills that seem to not have any significant impact. If all of this has not put you off yet, then the atmosphere and the quest lines were pretty interesting to play through. They are not very long if you are careful, have good gear and plan ahead. There may be times were you will be repeating a quest many, many times out of pure failure and frustration. This is where I recommend to play Single Player to "cheat" or Online with a group of people. Once I found some great gear and became OP, but still at the slight risk of dying, the game felt more casual fun with just enough hint of risk to keep me alert. Exploring every corner of the maps is not really worth it unless you like to hoard loot, but it is enjoyable to drive through to get from point A to B to fulfill a quest or a personal goal I wanted to do. My advice would be to focus on the quest lines if you are playing solo and just do whatever you want if playing online with others.

Next Day: Survival is a multiplayer SURVIVAL with RPG elements set in a fictional post—Soviet state. The game offers players to immerse themselves in a dangerous and exciting world where they have to complete tasks, learn skills and improve their character, as well as arrange shootouts with opponents and earn a reputation. One of the key features of the game is its similarity to the famous S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series of games, which makes it attractive to fans of this franchise. Players can explore a vast open world full of dangers and opportunities. They can interact with other players, form groups, or fight with each other for resources and territories. The game offers a variety of tasks and missions that allow players to gain experience and upgrade their character. You can also learn various skills such as shooting, survival, medicine and others to become more effective in the game. By arranging shootouts with opponents, players earn a reputation that allows them to gain access to new tasks, weapons and other resources. This adds an element of competitiveness and motivation for the players. Overall, Next Day: Survival offers an interesting and varied gaming experience. It will appeal to fans of multiplayer games, fans of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series and those who want to try their hand at survival in a dangerous world.

I love this game! I've been playing it constantly for about 4/5 days now, and i will likely continue playing it for a long time yet. At the price the game is, there is also no reason to not buy it. Sure, it has a few issues, but overall, its a great game, at a great price. BUY IT! However, there are a few things i would like to see included if, by any chance, the Devs read this, perhaps they could consider some of them. 1.) Base building - Not as a mandatory part of the game, but as an optional one. I for one, after finding out that the survivors (the faction i chose) are a long way from a lot of the areas where the quests happen, would like to build a base somewhere closer, so that i can store my stuff in, and even re-spawn in. I think it would be a great addition to the game as building a shelter is a core part of survival. 2.) Some of the animals are ridiculously hard to kill, honestly, this is a bit of a bind, whilst it shouldn't be easy to kill them, it shouldn't be near impossible either. 3,) The ammo ratings are way off. Since when has a 9mm round had almost the same stopping power as a .45 round? or a 5.56 been as powerful as a 7.62 long? I dunno about anyone else, but i would expect these to be more accurate to reality.
