I was not aware I played through 2 different nonogram games LOL. I played this one recently and LOVED it. Finishing each one brought me good satisfaction and made me feel calm and happy. I also like there's a community art function! I recommend this game :3

When you are tied of doing Sudoku and feeling a bit artsy, try nonogram. The nonograms org has a webpage with lots of free puzzles if anyone want to try them first before buying it on Steam. There are Steam community puzzles, or you can create your own art in the editor, and upload your puzzles. Although I still haven't figured out how to solve the logic fault errors...asked ChatGPT, it's probably because the one I created has multiple valid solutions. I guess it's not easy to make a perfect puzzle. With the guide, you can get all letter achievements in 3 hours.

Very fun nonogram game. Many, many levels in the base game, and there is a pretty robust level editor (insofar as a nonogram level editor can be robust, anyway). Easily worth the $1-$2 it costs on sale if you are a nonogram enjoyer, which I certainly am. Pretty easy to 100% for a puzzle game of this type, as well.

👍 I would recommend it! 8.3/10 Positive: +Smooth UI and choice of background/tile color. +Good sound effect and relaxing music choice ♪. +Lots of puzzles: 126 puzzles of different size in the main Gallery, 50 classic puzzles, 50 speed puzzles. +Progress of unlocking them all in the Gallery is fun! +It's enjoyable, calm, show solvable row is a blessing ♥. +I really like how the puzzle to choose from are displayed in the Gallery. It begin at the center, then unlock those around in the circle pattern. It's always fun to unlock stuff! :) +I really like the option "show solvable rows/columns" +The option to lock column sliding is nice too +I like that when you slide you get the count of tile +The color themes are wonderfully beautiful! +Cool brush effect to reveal the colored picture when the puzzle is solved. +Animation for painted tile. +Undo, redo button. +Time, size and title are displayed when mousing over a puzzle in the Gallery. +I like that progress is automatically saved and a small preview of the progress is shown in the Gallery +At launch, there seems to have had some bugs, but from what I read, the devs synched the patches for both their new game "Nonogram - Master's Legacy" and this one, so that both game are now up to date and with less bugs. Negative: -Negatives points are most likely nick picking things that could easily be fixed. -Escape doesn't go back, you have to click back button and there is no option to map it. -I don't know if it is a bug or what, but some of the finished pictures display 00:00:00 time on them. -I'm not sure about the copyright of some image: mario bros, skyrim, etc. -Speed mode is not really fun. There is no timer to beat it's only small randomized puzzles. -Weird french translation. "Hints fade" = "Allusion en fondu" -Why are the achievement letters? What does it mean? Is it when solving all puzzle in the Gallery? Is it something else? Who knows? Negative - Editor: -100x100 does not fit in the screen. Either a row or column is half drawn -When drawing the picture mode it would be cool to see through the puzzle mode else you could end up drawing something totally not fitting the puzzle mode :/ (it work in reverse, like if you draw the picture first and the puzzle after but in my case i like to do the puzzle first and the picture after) -There is no maximum pixel colored. I can create 5x5 all with color tile. I think it could be improved, what is there to solve if all the tiles are already colored anyway, 'Check puzzle' should return a warning and not accept it in this case. Negative - Community Art: -There is no way to vote thumb down/up/heart AFTER getting back to community gallery on puzzle you already completed. From what I can see, those options are only available at the moment of completion which I think could be improved (especially for large piece that you don't want to do it all over again only to add rating!) -I don't think that the Community dropdown menu should stay open when you switch to other pages with the back button. -Community search bar only work for full name ex: a user names 'ANT' will not be found with 'AN', but at least it's not case sensitive ^^'

A tutorial would have been handy to get started. I had an idea of how to play after playing a similar game but it took a while to figure out what the different coloured numbers meant. Some of the puzzles are quite easy but many are challenging, even some of the smaller ones. You will get hours of play out of this.
