My personal game of the year, in all honesty. Outlanders is a cleverly done city builder-puzzler that does what I've desperately been needing from other sims like it. The campaign mode is novel and engaging, building upon itself stage by stage through fun challenges and interesting little story lines. As much as I love a sandbox city builder, I always fall off once the gameplay loop gets to be too flat or repetitive. Having bite sized challenges that have a definite end is far more interesting to me, personally, and probably anyone else who needs a bit more finality and direction to their city building sims. I love completing a challenge and seeing the outlanders do their little dances and celebrations. Fantastic and simple animation, great soundtrack (what is that grocery store beeping though?), great sfx (very important!), excellent time.

A really fun and engaging game, but for the base price I expected to get more hours out of it without having to continuously dish out $$$ for new DLC.

I really love this game cuz it's simple and cozy. First time played this in Apple Arcade and I got addicted. (Me here sitting in corner waiting for another new wonderful DLC released) The difficulty are vary; some campaigns are ezpz, some can be such a bother. But, they're still easier and faster to clear compared any strategic games that I've played so far. My suggests for new players: - try the demo first (or check Apple Arcade) before buying all DLCs - clear the main campaign before jumping to sandbox

I've completed both the main story and the first DLC. This game deserves its very positive Rating! I've gotten all I was looking for in this game: City building; cute, expressive citizens; and interesting stories. I haven't tried the sandbox yet, but it's a good bet that it works! I already have a town concept in mind!

Incredibly fun city builder strategy sim! I would highly recommend this game, especially for someone new to the genre as Outlanders provides a smooth learning curve and easy-to-use UI. The DLC campaigns kick the difficulty up, which makes it also great for genre veterans. I loved having clear objectives, which a lot of games in this genre are missing.
