A game that's quite a lot of fun with a ton of content (especially if you get the DLCs, which they just dropped the prices of!). It's a very interesting mix of cozy/simplified and demanding/complex (as exemplified by the "chill" and "tactical" UI options that sit alongside the standard one), and its tone is an interesting mix of "good vibes" and "life is hell." In some ways, it is to Tropico as Majesty was to Age of Empires.

This is my absolute favorite game of all time. It is what has kept me sane through this last year of college, getting home and playing a random level, start to finish. Super relaxing and satisfying. One of the best management games by far, low pressure without feeling empty. Absolutely recommended for a short and sweet relaxing session every couple of nights. Plus the team is from my home country!! Love seeing jacarandas and palo borracho in game, as i also see them every morning from my window.

I love this game. It's perfect for me, i just wish there were more missions, especially in the dlc! I do wish the game would explain certain stuff a bit more. Otherwise, love it! I play this game to wake up to & fall asleep to. Really cozy and the only game i feel okay leaving but can't wait to start playing. It's not addictive, and i really really appreciate that.

Highly Recommend. I have the base game and all of the expansions. This game is similar to Townsmen, in my opinion, but more relaxing / simple. Definitely requires less brain power to play, and is easier in general. There are many levels to go through, each having a "Completion Goal" and a "Optional Goal" that must be achieved in a specific amount of game days. There is also the sandbox mode for those wanting to play without set goals / pressure. Each level takes about 1.5 hours to complete and the maps / resources available / builds available vary in each one as well. Some levels are more challenging than others. You build buildings, assign workers, gather and manage resources. Once you've completed the goals assigned to the level, you have the option to continue playing until the end of the time period allotted or finish and move on to the next level. The game does become a little repetitive, as you learn what buildings should be build when etc., but as each level provides you with limits, you sometimes need to think outside the box to succeed. There is a relaxing "spa" music playing in the background, which I enjoyed as it made the game even more relaxing and pleasant to play. I love this game because it takes very little energy to play, which is wonderful at the end of a work day / after the kids are in bed and your brain is mush. It's challenging, yet easy and relaxing. I very much enjoy this game, and would love to see even more expansions. -- This game is much better than Outlanders 2, which was just released for Apple Arcade. Not a fan of that one. --
