Such an adorable little game. Super cozy and chill if you're looking to turn your brain off and relax at the end of a long day. The soundtrack and the gourdlets are so cute. The only thing is that I think it lacks variety; there's not much you can choose from to build your town, and once you've unlocked everything, it can get boring quite fast. A bigger selection of items would definitely be nice. Anyways. Overall, I think CAD $4 was worth it for a couple of hours of fun. (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)
Recommended for cozy game fans who enjoy decorating and making cute little scenes. The art style is adorable and relaxing, but there's not much gameplay beyond decorating, so I got bored after a few hours. Great if you're looking for a short, chill experience, but don't expect a lot of content.
The game is relaxing and so colorful! But I feel like its lacking in some major ways. I wish that the gourdlets could mate and multiply on their own instead of having to constantly send for the train. I also feel like the gameplay seems very repetitive because after like 3 hours I feel like there is nothing else to look forward to within the gameplay. The game feels one-layered. And what I mean is that it just simply a decoration game. But I do wish there was some small adjective that makes the game play feel like there is a little effort being put into keeping the game from getting boring quickly. I just want more to the gourdlets themselves. I only recommend this game if you are a person that is detail-oriented and who also likes decorating. And if you enjoy games where it's more of an idle experience? You would definitely enjoy Gourdlets.
I didn't really get this game when I first got it. There aren't any goals and it kind of just lets you loose in a fairly small, empty sandbox world with a smallish number of things to add to it. So I left it alone for a while. But recently I started loading it up on my lunch breaks, spending 10 mins here and there building little forest park islands and watching the gourdlets just hanging out having a nice time, and it's been so relaxing and destressing. Now I get that just having a chilled out time messing around with things is the point, and I love it. If you need something small and relaxing that doesn't take up much time or brainpower and has a good dose of cute in it, I'd definitely recommend Gourdlets.

I love watching the colorful gourgulets around, interacting with whatever you place, and then tossing them into the water to see them chilling there. I would love to poke their tiny hats if the game let me. This game reminded me of something I learned a long time ago: I’m not a builder. And I crave a good story… or at least some story. A note? A footnote? Let’s be fair, though: it’s adorable. The colors are soothing, and the whole game is cozy in some way. If the soundtrack was better I’d probably stay longer. I also like how the advertising and tutorials basically tell you: "you can do nothing at all, because the gourgulets do not care." They’re living their best lives, entirely unbothered by your plans. Most of items are granted from the start. As you play, you can unlock a few more. You can use your creativity however you want. At one point I even started inventing little stories for them: their jobs, their origins, their tiny social lives. (A suspicious number of them showed up in pumpkin hats, so I decided they were all coming from the same Halloween party.) If you love cute creatures, decorating, and building your own little world, this is probably a great time. Cozy, relaxing, charming to watch. But for me?
