**🌬️ Oxygen – Survival, Strategy, and the Fight for Every Breath** *Oxygen* is a game that takes a simple idea—survival—and builds it into a tense, strategic experience where every decision matters. It’s not about flashy action or constant movement; it’s about managing resources, thinking ahead, and staying alive in an environment that doesn’t want you there. From the very beginning, the game establishes a strong sense of pressure. Oxygen isn’t just a resource—it’s *the* resource. Every action you take, every system you build, and every risk you consider ties back to one fundamental question: can you keep breathing? That constant tension drives the gameplay in a way that feels both stressful and incredibly engaging. The management mechanics are where the game really shines. You’re not just surviving—you’re building, optimizing, and adapting. Balancing oxygen production, resource gathering, and expansion creates a gameplay loop that’s both challenging and rewarding. It encourages careful planning, but also forces you to react when things inevitably go wrong. Visually, *Oxygen* leans into a clean, functional style that supports its gameplay. Everything is easy to read, which is crucial in a game where quick decisions can mean the difference between survival and failure. It may not be the most visually flashy experience, but it’s effective and purposeful. The pacing is another strong point. There are moments of calm where everything runs smoothly, followed by sudden spikes of tension when resources run low or systems start to fail. That balance keeps the experience dynamic and prevents it from becoming repetitive. However, the game isn’t without its challenges. The difficulty can feel unforgiving, especially for new players. There’s a learning curve when it comes to understanding how different systems interact, and mistakes can be punishing. Some players might also wish for more variety or narrative elements to complement the core gameplay. Still, for those who enjoy strategic thinking and resource management, that challenge is part of the appeal. **Final Verdict:** *Oxygen* is a tense and rewarding survival strategy game that revolves around one simple but powerful concept. It’s challenging, sometimes unforgiving, but deeply satisfying once you learn how to manage the pressure. **Recommended for:** Fans of survival and management games, players who enjoy strategic planning, and anyone who likes the idea of fighting to survive one breath at a time. I hope this review has been helpful.

I only recommend it if you like base-building survival games. It's pretty good until halfway through the game (one mistake at the beginning can be fatal), when you unlock the production upgrades, from then on it becomes pretty easy

I bought it on sale. just finished the last Steam trophy. Its not perfect. I wish some things were a little different. for example: I wish there were some harder challenges for the trophies. other than that its a fun game.
