it is insanely annoying that several of the games, notably the *best* part of this package, PAC-MAN ARRANGEMENT, is locked behind challenges. Even if it's basic, playing PAC-MANIA for 2 times is really not my idea of fun just to get to the game i bough this for, lol! but i'm leaving this as recommended anyways cuz pac-man arrangement is really good i guess

Get it just for Pac-Man Arrangement. Just TRY to beat Arrangement without any continues. It is strangely addicting. Please send help.

This is a game collection that gets a lot of flak for falling short of fan expectations, most specifically this is the first game to cut out all of the Midway contributions to the Pac-Man library: no Ms. Pac-Man, Jr. Pac-Man, and Baby Pac-Man. They're replaced in cutscenes with more generic looking characters. But compared to the first Pac-Man Museum, which largely swiped from the "Ghostly Adventures" TV series aesthetic, this still comes off as a bit more nostalgic. You're given in-game tokens that you have to use to play the arcades, but the reward for playing is often 5 or more tokens, so you'll most likely keep a net gain of tokens more than lose them all. Then you can spend tokens to either get gacha toys or furniture items you can use to customize your own arcade. I consider this to be fun, even though the arcade is quite noisy looking no matter the decorations. All the arcade games don't have a true wide screen/flip screen option. Instead you're allowed to increase the screen size up to three times. There are CRT filters that are custom to each game, but feel more imitation than genuine, and sometimes lead to some nasty screen tearing, even in modern games like "Pac and Roll remix" which shouldn't have any screen tearing. All of the games in here are the same as the ones in Pac-Man Museum except for the following: -Pac Man Arrangement CE (Console Edition) - This was a different release of Pac-Man arrangement for consoles. It's a whole different game. The maps are different, and none of the original mechanics from the arcade are in here. Like in the original game, you fight an end-boss based on the four original ghosts, but they have different gimmicks from the bosses in the arcade. Fun, if a bit awkward. -Pac-in-Time - Part of a 90s revival of Pac-Man which also included Pac-Attack (which is included) and Pac Man 2: The new Adventures (which isn't). It's based on an old PC licenced game, originally titled "Fury of the Furries" which has Pac-Man swing across ropes, swing hammers, and shoot fireballs, to eat the requisite dots and end the stage. -Pac n' Roll Remix - A console version of a game originally on DS with touch controls. In the remake you simply use a joystick, but the gameplay is still fun. Roll Pac-Man around like a marble in some sprawling 3-D levels where you have to eat enough dots to pass stop-gates and reach the goal of every stage, -Pac-Moto - Based on a Namco arcade game named "Moto" and originally bonus content for Pac N' Roll Remix, Pac-Man plays sumo with several enemies in arenas that feature pinball bumpers, dropping floors, other obstacles and bosses. -Pac-Man 256 - Originally a mobile game. can be easily described as "Pac-Man meets Crossy Road." Move as far forward as you can in a glitchy isometric 3-D maze while avoiding ghosts that chase, ghosts that simply move sideways, ghosts that form chains, and on and on. Collect enough dots and unlock random power ups that will help you survive longer.

Pac-Man Arrangement is the only real reason I bought this, but everything else ranges to great at best (Pac-Man 256) to absolute trash that no one should play (looking at you PAC-IN-TIME). But even then, I would still recommend this, but maybe wait for a sale.
