I’m a sucker for retro game compilations, and for some reason, there aren't a bunch on Steam rn. The 14 games included are pretty neat, I especially appreciate Pac-Man 256’s inclusion. Biggest gripe, ofc, is that Ms. Pac-Man isn’t included. $20 is a bit much for games you likely already have the roms of stashed away somewhere, I got this for $10 during the steam sale, and I feel like that was even a bit much.

[url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDyEmbk2RVs] 'Cause I got Pac-Man Fever! Pac-Man Museum+ is a lot like the Namco Museums of yesteryear, exempting the Pac-Man focus and the diegetic interface. It's a celebration of Pac-Man's past, and even if some of these games have been spotted in other Namco Museums, the collection on display here is eclectic enough to warrant a look. There's the classics; Pac-Man, Super Pac-Man, Pac-Mania, the ones you've likely seen in other Pac-Man or Namco Museum titles. Then there's stuff like Pac N' Pal, a relatively rare arcade game with some strange mechanics added in. Then there's Pac-Man Arrangement, both it's arcade and console releases. AND THEN we get to more modern or out-there games, as well as games that never saw Western release like Pac-In-Time or Pac-Attack (yes, I know Pac-Attack technically did see a Western release in Pac-Man World 2, but SHUSH), as well as two games from Namco Museum Remix, originally a Wii game (Pac N' Roll Remix and Pac-Motos), Pac-Man Battle Royale, Pac-Man Championship Edition, and Pac-Man 256, of all games. Now, I'm not going to make a bunch of mini-reviews for every single game here, but there's something here for just about everyone, no matter what game you're looking to play, be it classic maze-roaming, dot-eating madness, puzzle games, platform games, or whatever the heck Pac-Motos is. Of course, if it was just these games, while it'd be fine, it wouldn't stand out too well from, and I keep beating this point, earlier Namco Museum titles. What makes this one so special is that every game has included missions, both to promote replayability and to encourage getting better at the games in question, the classic arcade games use tokens, just like an actual arcade, and that all of these games are couched in a fully-customizable arcade setting. While the customization is a bit of a gimmick, it's a nice time-waster and a good token sink. What you see with Pac-Man Museum+ is very much what you get, but for twenty dollars, it's a steal if you're ever interested in the playable, strange history of one of gaming's oldest characters. Pac-Man's had a lot of games, and while the copyright issues that currently surround this property do mean we suffer some disappointing losses, what we still get in this collection is a surprisingly varied, fun set of games. Tl;dr: A good buy for Pac-fans, even if it's a bit niche.

it is insanely annoying that several of the games, notably the *best* part of this package, PAC-MAN ARRANGEMENT, is locked behind challenges. Even if it's basic, playing PAC-MANIA for 2 times is really not my idea of fun just to get to the game i bough this for, lol! but i'm leaving this as recommended anyways cuz pac-man arrangement is really good i guess

Get it just for Pac-Man Arrangement. Just TRY to beat Arrangement without any continues. It is strangely addicting. Please send help.

Pac-Man Arrangement is the only real reason I bought this, but everything else ranges to great at best (Pac-Man 256) to absolute trash that no one should play (looking at you PAC-IN-TIME). But even then, I would still recommend this, but maybe wait for a sale.
