Stuck in the past with a broken time machine? My question, where is the time machine gone?β³πŸ› οΈ Never seen it, nor there are any cut sceneses to suggest this. But anyways, build a civilization from scratch, hunt, craft, trade, and pray your villagers don’t revolt before you can fix your ride home. Stone Age chaos never felt this fun! πŸͺ“πŸŒΎπŸš€ Follow my curator page for more villages thriving and history slightly rewritten! πŸ›οΈβœ¨ https://store.steampowered.com/curator/42602807-Osiris-Reviews/

TLDR: Good little settlement builder, really, IF you don't mind some of the rougher edges. Definitely looking forward to see what the dev does with the rework. Now, the longer version.. I'm 12 hours in at the time of writing and I'd say halfway to full achievements. I'm enjoying my time, but the game is SLOW. And you have to be okay with that. For one, you're limited in the number of settlers you can have by the fact they only come through random immigration every now and again. That means even if you could support a larger population already (and could frankly probably use the workers), you'll have periods where you're stuck waiting for new arrivals. Secondly, research.. research is incredibly grindy in this one. It's easy enough to obtain in the first place, given that you can use stone as a resource and mining resources don't run out in this game (and there's other resources you can use later), but the time/workforce it takes to make significant progress is- a lot. Now, the other thing the game is lacking in a little is information. The info you get is mostly about production, but there are no detailed stats on daily consumption or anything of the sort. There isn't even anywhere that shows you if everyone has housing. You literally have to check your population count and the number of houses you built (and how many people those houses can hold). In the early mid-game I went an entire stretch just forgetting to build houses and about half my population ended up homeless (as I kept taking nomads in). I never noticed until one of them finally became unhappy a GOOD while later though. There wasn't really a big consequence for this oversight, but a simple UI clue of how many are housed or homeless would've still prevented it. It's really just little things though, overall. For the price and what it is, the game is definitely worth giving it a good spin.

I never give reviews normally, however I really love this game and the direction it's heading. There are some minor issues, such as settles not eating straight away when hungry or cold. However, the art is adorable, the learning mechanic is fair, there is no tutorial but I managed to figure it out very easily with some minor hiccups (Still no idea what felting does), overall if you like rimworld I suggest this game!!

hey paleodev love your game, but the combat is definitely in need of work in addition, the research tree is basic, the research system is interesting but not the best. maybe add a actual challenge :I no offense it kind of seems like its you against the enviroment but that is interesting in this kind of game, in addition i feel like mammoths of all things should also fight back. i dont want to be harsh but i really see the potential in this game and i want it be the best it can

It's pretty fun at first but after awhile it I lost the motivation to play. The Key Features section in the game description pretty much says it all. I was hoping there'd be more challenges that would drive the need to progress, but really there's nothing beyond just get the next thing. I got it on sale for a couple of bucks and spent a fair amount of time in it, so I'll give it a thumbs up for the fun I had. Get it on sale and enjoy the casual experience.
